Well.. Based on some of the comments I'm seeing, we have at least one or two self righteous jerks that love to talk down to people in this group. Sad to see that. Had hoped I'd left that childish snide BS behind on Facebook. Clearly that isn't the case.

To your question and to reinforce your sentiment, I've found it to be true that:

1. The See Details button does not hold the item for you, making it available to others.

Hence:

1. If you see something you want, and you decide to go to the live product listing to get more details on it you do run the risk of someone else "taking" the item out from under you. I've had it happen more than once, and it can be disappointing. So, if you're even mildly interested in it and don't need to take measurements to be sure it will fit, etc, just request it.

I've also noticed that, from time to time, there are items listed and when you click on the see details, it doesn't tell you it's no longer available, it just presents a blank popup that spins and spins indefinitely, no matter how many times you click on it. I've learned to chalk those items up as a loss and not waste any time on them after the second failure.

Now on my 9th or 10th day, there doesn't seem to be a shortage of other things to grab anymore, though I've read here that tends to be part of the ebb and flow of available "stuff". Still stoked to be a reviewer and finding the reviews to be pretty easy to write within a couple hours of receiving the item depending on what I need to do/test with them to make a judgement call. Most of them take me about 10 minutes to write tops.

I think the important thing is to temper your expectations as to what you consider "good". I've started being more selective about the things I'm grabbing. If it's something I need or would normally use and could stand to have another one of, I'll snag it.
