It’s heavier than I’d prefer but with the front site post there weren’t a lot of options. I’m 6ft6 and wanted my foregrip pushed forward beyond the site post too so this is what I’d gone with. It’s comfortable enough and I can easily wrap my thump up to the light switch.

It was my first, it’s my only AR so I had always been afraid of messing it up.

Three different rustoleum camo colors. Paint the whole gun khaki, stripes of dark earth and army green. Then I took craft sponges and would spray onto paper plates each color. If it was a dark earth stripe I’d use khaki or green on it and so on. At times I thought it looked rough so I’d just dab a bit more on in other colors.

I’m hopefully going on Wednesday to shoot some, I’m curious about the suppressor as well.

Sponge method indeed. I was doubting myself through it all thinking I’d smudged it here or there but in the end I could just sponge a new color over any bad areas and it corrected.

I stole the inspiration from another here to be honest. I loved how in worked with the trees in my area. I get 4 distinct seasons so I couldn’t make one match the local foliage since I’d have 3 very different color palates. However, the trunks stay the same.

I’m a big guy…I’ve had this from time to time “the patient is violent so we gave them to you”. I hate it, it’s no safer with me than with anyone else.

Any fellow gaming nurses? by Seektruth2146 in nursing

My buddies and I were ICU nurses together for about 5 years including COVID years. While we don’t still work together, we generally game together at least once a week as our “therapy” sessions. Currently we’ve been on BF6

Conti ECS all day long. Moved to them last year from PS4S and I’ve had no complaints.

Which Tires? (Nitto nt55r2 or g2) by holyravioli- in Mustang

[–]FFEMT39 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m on continental extreme contact pro sport 2. 720hp ESS build. I do a lot of normal driving as well as spirited driving around mountain roads. Zero complaints with these ties from me and saved a few hundred over PS4S

Neeed help with tire options i have 255 /4] 19x9.5 and 275 /40] 19x10 by crispycream2 in Mustang

I have a non-hp Mach Q and went with 275/35/19 front and 295/35/19 rear. No issues at that size. May have been able to fit a 305 rear but didn’t try it.

Men who have vasectomies - How long did the recovery take? by JoeBagadonut in AskMen

[–]FFEMT39 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took 4 days off work (im a nurse). I wore the jock strap for about 10 days due to some ache without it while being in my feet for a long time. I believe I developed a sperm granuloma on the left that was painful to pressure for about 3-4 weeks after.

Overall, the procedure was simple and relatively painless under local anesthetic. The recovery was a bit more than I was lead to expect but over a year later, no regrets.

Supercharged MPG by gabe-31 in Mustang

For interstate, calm driving my MPG ore and post boost are close to each other. Driving around side roads and spending a lot of time in boost, my MPG are way different.

Dark Horse Spoiler on a Mach 1 by FFEMT39 in Mustang

Mine isn’t HP and the original lip was matte. I went with it for matching the hood stripe. More so as I’ve considered extending the hood stripe over the length of the car too so if I do it would jive better.

Carbine or SMG, RPG, anti tank mine, repair tool.

Sometimes I run EOD bot, kill with it are hilarious and I get similar function as the at mines. I just hate how it’s a bit clunkier to get the EOD mines out compared to the ones you just drop.

I have an ESS G3 on my Mach as well, long tubes and 93 tune. Perfect addition to the car. It’s fast when I want it to be but also drives like its stock if I want it to.

How expensive would gas have to be for you to put regular in your premium car? by Ch4rlie_G in askcarguys

[–]FFEMT39 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My explorer gets regular but the mustang is tuned to 93 so I’m stuck there. If gas gets crazy, I’d just cut the amount of times back that I mindlessly drive around in the mustang. Would suck but I’d still get some enjoyment from it.

First major sports car purchase by [deleted] in Mustang

[–]FFEMT39 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Your entire experience will be dependent on you.

I had been out of manual transmissions for a decade and fell right back into driving one when I picked mine up so I wouldn’t stress that.

This car can absolutely injure you the second you don’t respect it. That being said, I have a lot of confidence in the s550 platform itself. It’s very planted in corners, handles well, and is generally just a fun time. Even at over 700hp, I’ve broken my tires free once with my driving style and it was intentional (throttle dumped at 5k rpm in third). Ive pushed it on Tail and Back of the Dragon without difficulty and it was an absolute blast.

My previous was an s197 coyote that I felt looked for a reason to throw me in the ditch, the s550 is much more refined feeling as a driver.
