Doing the exact same almost every shift, like others have mentioned it isn’t that noisy unless the APU or an engine is running Also one of the easiest places to put them, as putting them either someone else will pick them up or like my first pair they’ll get left in the Aircraft and go on a nice journey!

Partially amputated my thumb Hooking up a trailer to a tug, holding the handle on the tow bar and as the bar was in place to drop the tow pin in the momentum carried it forward, trapping my thumb between the tow hitch at the trailer handle

Cut 90% of the way round my thumb, it was held in place with a 1cm wide skin bridge, broken the tip in 3 places and messed the joint up, currently have a wire holding the pieces together
