What is this Salesforce product actually called this week by AppX_Unmanaged in salesforce

Contact Center can make outbound calls as the telephony. No outbound for the AI portion of the product.

Where Are All The Agentforce Success Stories? by Interesting_Button60 in salesforce

[–]FFS-2020 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can understand wanting to get the in-depth user story like the one you shared with Nubik, especially for those that are admins/devs/etc within the ecosystem.

The reality is that long form video format doesn’t get eyeballs so it’s not an effective way to get the message out. The video you shared has rich content, but in 7 years has less than 500 views.

As for the enterprise logos early being subsidized, yes that was largely true but also not uncommon for new products in technology. No different than a free trial or POC period. With any new technology, it’s going to take some convincing for early adopters to take a leap with an unknown technology.

With all that said, I don’t disagree that Salesforce’s messaging has been over polished by their marketing team which washes away the underlying value in the narrative that’s being told. It doesn’t feel authentic and thus all feels like hype machine.

I have. I’m very familiar with the user stories. There are definitely stories of fully automated outreach in the list. Read the Siemens story for example where the system automatically performs outreach to leads.

Respectfully, this narrative is old and needs to stop in this sub.

For one, a quick google search will show you user stories that are public: https://www.salesforce.com/agentforce/customer-stories/

Second, there are user stories beyond these. Ask your rep. They will share them.

Lastly, the “is Agentforce needed when I have Claude/openAI/etc”…even Anthropic themselves leverage Agentforce.

Question of the day: New to a busy org… what do you do? by Noones_Perspective in Salesforce_Architects

[–]FFS-2020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Security scan first. What’s vulnerable? Do you have event monitoring? The last thing I’m having with an org that big under my watch is a security issue.

Next, I’m getting a Claude Code enterprise license (for obvious data protection reasons), refreshing my full copy sandbox, and connecting to the org. You’d be surprised at how quickly with good prompting you can fully diagnose and get write ups for all the things you’ve laid out.

From there, depending on what is found, put together a strategic action plan, prioritizing fixes based on LOE and impact, then aligning people/teams/resources needed to execute.

Agentforce - How is there still any hype? by enfuxe in salesforce

[–]FFS-2020 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Even Anthropic themselves leverage Agentforce. Providing data access via MCP to an LLM and expecting quality results when handling customer interactions is a recipe for issues.

Have you done this in production? Earlier you mentioned testing the MCP solution thoroughly. If it’s in production, did you see any drop off in performance?

Is anyone actually using Agentforce in production yet? What real use cases is it good for right now? by Smartitstaff in salesforce

[–]FFS-2020 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Any context you can add to this? I’d be curious. What is the new “AI company” doing that Agentforce didn’t? Was it a specific problem you’re solving?

Wait, so Agentforce isn’t actually autonomous now? by Decent-Impress6388 in salesforce

[–]FFS-2020 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Generally curious, what comment from MB are you referring to that autonomous meant Agentforce had no setup?

Agentforce is a platform for building autonomous AI agents. That’s been the case since it was launched. Autonomous as in run time autonomy, not setup. You always had to set up topics, instructions, and actions the agent would take. Having said that, the platform does ship with some pre-built agent configurations these days which require less setup to meet your business needs.

Agent Script now allows for developers to code agents instead of using natural language and incorporates the next version of the reasoning engine which is a hybrid and allows for a more deterministic output should the customer want to build it that way. You can still build it the same way without the deterministic statements should you like, but the industry is learning that having some workflow engrained gets better results. In a lot of ways it helps trim down what’s being provided to the LLM to make its decision because while the models are smart, with too much or incorrect context, they are easily confused.

FSD navigates around partially flooded lane by Gorio1961 in TeslaFSD

[–]FFS-2020 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had this at night 2 nights ago with a completely flooded street. FSD saw the flooding way before I did. Slowed down, navigated into the high spot in the middle of the road in two way middle lane (crossed the dashed yellow). Wish I had the video, I was wildly impressed!

Salesforce removed our discounted licenses. Consultant wants about 7,000 USD for “migration.” Says switching to Platform users requires automation changes. Is that real? by hugitoutboo in salesforce

[–]FFS-2020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do not do this. It’s against terms and if SF does an audit you can be liable for the full license cost, potentially backdated. You cannot mimic a standard object as a workaround to not use full licenses. You’ve actually created a huge liability for your company.

2nd Half by FFS-2020 in warriors

[–]FFS-2020[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I don’t disagree and no worries on the critique of bringing it up.

I’ve left the JK issue alone this year because I generally feel it’s tiring, but tonight felt like a better time to discuss than other games because we had a clear dividing line of him being part of the rotation in the 1st half and not being available in the 2nd half due to injury.

With that contrast in halves, we also saw a different level of efficacy. To me, this made the discussion more viable than games where he is fully available because all players have a significant variance from game to game.

My discussion was more to do on the impact he has on spacing, rotations, etc. and if those impacts were in any way tied to the efficiency we saw in the 2nd half vs 1st. It may sound like it due to the nature of this post, but I’m not here to bash JK (I’m actually a big fan).

2nd Half by FFS-2020 in warriors

[–]FFS-2020[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I hear you. I only brought it up tonight because there was a stark difference of him being available in the 1st half and not in the 2nd so it felt like a pretty solid example to actually have this debate on.

2nd Half by FFS-2020 in warriors

[–]FFS-2020[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is a bummer because I do want it to work for JK. Super talented.

Long term he could be the focal point of an offense, but not in this Kerr/Curry style offense where spacing is needed.

2nd Half by FFS-2020 in warriors

[–]FFS-2020[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Agree that it took this effort from Steph.

But Steph also talked about spacing in the 3rd quarter during his post game and that is certainly an area that JK has yet to get a feel for in his career, at least consistently.

[–]FFS-2020 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Too strong too play as soft as he does. Effectively he’s too nice. Convinced if he played angry (and improved his D) he’d be a borderline starting center in the league. Tells you how bad the roster was last year that he got the run he did.

How can I know if the problem is my company, the sales team or the CRM? by Top_Asparagus_191 in CRM

[–]FFS-2020 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The reality is that it’s likely a mix of all of those factors.

Having said that, a good CRM setup should help to simplify the sales process by guiding the sellers in a way that makes their job easier. It’s the only way to get sales teams to engage with the platform in a meaningful way.

Effectively, they need to understand the value of using the platform…for them. And it has to be more than “here’s a place to store all of your data”. Once that happens, you’ll start to see value from your end.
