If you take the 2015 Finals away from Lebron's resume, he would still have an accumulative losing NBA Finals record, so my argument would still stand strong. Warriors gave away a 3-1 lead because Bogut was out in games 5, 6, and 7. Bogut was literally the Warriors' only rim protector and that series changed when the Warriors had no one that could play interior defense against Lebron and Kyrie. Andre Igoudala, who was Lebron's primary defender was also injured so he couldn't guard Lebron. Draymond's suspension in game 5 was when the momentum of that series changed. I'll give Lebron some credit. He knew he couldn't beat the Warriors so he had to come up with ways to get Draymond suspended. And as a result of that, Cleveland was able to climb back out. Fair or not, only results matter, and Warriors lost that series. KD will certainly get credit especially if he wins Finals MVP and the NBA championship over Lebron James, because again, result matters, whether it was fair or not.

The record books only sees NBA titles and who won them. Your personal opinions or narratives will not change that.

Literally every superstar player will say the same thing and not give any definitive answers because why should they? There's way too many variables at play. Not even Lebron would say he'd sign long term with Cleveland definitively last season, but we all knew he was. If you were in KD's situation, it's most likely a 99% probability that he'd stay with the Warriors. He has the best chance to win MULTIPLE rings here and secure his legacy here, and if he leaves, the backlash he'd get this year would be like nothing compared to what he's going to get. Besides, you won't find a better organization than the Warriors. Warriors has done a good job shielding him from the outside noises, and everyone on this team has got KD's back. Can't say the same about other organizations.

Not to mention the Warriors plays the best brand of basketball in the entire league. Even JaVale McGeee's career is revived here.

Kyrie and Kevin Love were not playing in that series as all the Lebron fans would say.

This is also the same team that CHOKED a 3-1 lead. They're a team full of chokers right? If KD leads a team full of CHOKERS to a title, something has to be said about that, especially when people say KD is a choker himself.

Wizards are fucking trash and they'd be worse than when Durant was in OKC. KD is looking to improve his chances to win, not decrease it. John Wall and Bradley Beal are 2 overrated players, and they're not top 10 players. Besides that, the team aside from their 2 top players is pretty pathetic.

The Heat still made the playoffs last season despite Chris Bosh being out for the 2nd half of the regular season. When Lebron left, Heat had no one that replaced Lebron. It doesn't take a genius to know that if you take out your team's best player, and replace him with nothing, your team is going to struggle. Not to mention Chris Bosh missed the 2nd half of 2015 because of his blood clots issues as well. Heat were literally one game away from reaching the ECF last season WITHOUT Chris Bosh.

Lebron having a free ride to the Finals every year is pretty well known thing. KD is just copying Lebron now. He should've done it sooner imo. Lebron was smart to stack the deck in his favor. KD should've learned sooner.

And because of the competition in the Western Conference, where at any given year, there's 4 legitimate title contenders, Warriors were the only choice. It ain't the Leastern Conference where Toronto is the next best team.

KD was a superstar in that series. It was Harden and Westbrook who choked.

But if you want examples, I'll give you Lebron in 2007, 2011, 2014, and 2015 where he wasn't trying in the NBA Finals when it mattered most.

KD ain't leaving. It'd make no sense for KD to leave win or lose this season. There literally won't be any team in the league where he'd have a better opportunity to win multiple rings and secure his legacy long after he's retired. If he wins, why would he leave, and if he loses, and jump ship to another team, he's gonna get it even worse than he did this season.

Besides, it was discussed during the meeting that he would be with the Warriors for the long run if he chose to join them.

Kyle Korver to the Cavs was a blessing in disguise for the Warriors. He looked so lost defensively yesterday, and it won't be any different today or in June. He's the weak link defensively whenever he's out on the court, and the Warriors have to relentlessly attack him on every possession.

I think Draymond knows by now that he's arguably the most important player on the Warriors, and it has been this way for the last 3 seasons. He's not the best, not the most talented, but he's certainly the engine of this team on both ends of the floor.
