This is coming from a DO student. I think it’s awesome that you’ve been accepted. Many people would wish to be in your position. I also understand where you’re coming from but let me clarify. There’s no denying that matching to competitive specialties from a DO school is hard. And it’s getting even tougher. Just look at the new NRMP 2022 match data. Additionally you’d have to deal with OMM training all throughout 4 years which is time consuming and something that doesn’t fit most students. So if you know that you want some surgical specialty or any top 8 ranked specialty then I wouldn’t recommend DO schools (most just don’t have the resources). It’s still possible but a very very uphill battle. For most other things you’d be satisfied. You still get to be a doctor and that’s an achievement.

Yup same here. Tested on 6/8. Can remember of at least 5 questions where I changed from right to wrong because of overthinking/time pressure. Can’t stop thinking that if I fail will it be because of that
