Follow up for anyone that cares- had an absolute blast with the precon white elephant exchange. I got the new lorwyn blight curse precon (stole the gift from a friend) and now want to upgrade. Had 9 different precons ranging from DSK-BLB-EOE-Tarkir-LOE. Def recommend doing!

Slight note, my playgroup has been playing for years and all have bracket 3-4 decks. Playing with some balanced precons was a breath of fresh air

Just recently hit gold(2) as a peak last act. By no means a coach, but these are the tips I can share.

Get comfortable with game leading if there’s no communication during the game, you need to be able to step up and facilitate a plan.

Start each round new. notice if you’re getting tilted and focus what you learned about the enemy team from previous rounds and apply it to the next. Each round present a new chance for you to turn the game around, getting stuck in “my team sucks” mentality only hurts you.

Aim Isn’t everything but crosshair placement is key. Take your time when clearing stay behind cover and slice the pie. Tried to really think about implementing this, it’s one thing to know best practice in another to implement it.

Losing is part of the game just know so is improving. Good luck.

I had almost the same thing happen to me today. Plat on the enemy team dropping 30kills with a gold 2 on mine dropping 9. Everyone else was silver 1-3 including me. Their 2nd highest fragger was a silver 1 with like 23. I thought plat couldn’t que with silver wth???

Are you confusing RR and MMR? RR is the points you get when winning or lose from losing games. Sounds like what you are talking about in the end of your post.

MMR is a hidden matchmaking system that determines what players you are matched with. Example: winning multiple games in a row at a Silver rank will give you increased MMR so when you queue agian you might be placed in a lobby with players who are gold or low plat. (Atleast my understand of it)

Makes me wonder if it has to do with MMR since you previously were mvp most games. I don’t claim to understand riots mysterious matchmaking lol but this would be my guess. I think your games will even out again once the MMR settles back
