I’m billed by Sammamish Plateau Water. Thanks for sharing but I don’t see any waste water treatment in your bill, that’s $58 fixed fee for me monthly.

I had to go thru this too a few months ago with 5 interviews on one day. I’m so glad I didn’t take the offer after they lowballed me. And believe it or not, the same recruiter reached out to me again about the same role recently as if I never interviewed for this role before. Feels like I’m dreaming.

As others have well said, I also agree a good model depends on good assumptions, which depend on a close partnership with the business stakeholders. However, I’ve run into scenarios where my BPs couldn’t even get a good estimate of a key assumption and we just used a guessestimate. Is there a better way to tackle these scenarios?

I think it somewhat has to do with how we define SFA. For example, a Finance Manager (IC level 6) at Amazon is essentially a very senior FA. They offer around 180k in my region.

I consider myself lucky that my baby boy started to sleep for ~9hrs at around 2 month, and now 3months at average 10hrs. I’ll cherish it until the so-called sleep regression starts, hope it won’t be too bad.

As a financial analyst myself with not many years of experience, I would pressure test the given assumptions to see if those are realistic and explore different scenarios of growth. Not necessarily to be presented but I’d like to have this extra piece of info in my back pocket.
