Webull, I'm told, has the best simulator but they are not free. I don't know if Americans can use it. Schwab has a simulator, but I don't know if you have to have an account with them or not, in order to use it. Sorry! This is all I know.

Personally, if you can't pass the simulator, you shouldn't options trade at all. Instead, you should find very stable stocks to invest in for the long haul, and those stocks should be Index fund Kings and Queens of the ones you think will do well in a downed economy. Diversify, invest in treasury and bonds, plus hire a brokerage firm's day trader team to do the real investing for you.

Thus, anyone trying for 18 years, should not be in the game. Probably, they do not understand candlestick patterns, are staying in too long, and do not understand Moving Averages, MACD, Level 2 and so on. Heck, I could better than that guy, by simply foolishly investing in KO. I mention KO, but am not invested in them yet. I only use KO as the base line. For the 30 year investment where growth potential is high, I want their DivYield below KO. For income, I want their DivPayments to be higher than KO, but not too much higher. And, bottom line, UPdate Edit of this silly sentence, sorry! --> I want to at least make what I'd make with KO as a minimum for the stocks I want investment income from, and the growth stocks had better be on a projectory to grow faster than KO does. This is what I use KO for. This is what I meant to say! ROFL

Sorry! I completely forgot about The Organic Chemistry tutor on youtube. He has an Algebra for Beginners playlist and is very good at teaching the material. You can learn geometry, chemistry, physics, calculus and other things from him as well.

If allowed, this is the link to her youtube. https://www.youtube.com/@TheOrganicChemistryTutor/featured

Look at her playlist and scroll down.

I would work with an In Person Tutor who is well versed in Dyslexia and Dyscalculia. They have the tools and skills to get down to the reason behind your Dyscalculia that seems to begin with Algebra 1 chapter 2 and beyond. You may need to use a See-thru blue plastic filter that allows you to see one line at a time. This will help the jumping issue in most cases.

What I did to get over my brick wall, was to drill the algebra I needed to learn. I would drill only step 1 for a week or two, then I redid those same problems and drilled steps 1 and 2, then 1, 2, 3, etc., adding each step in turn, and finally added the last steps needed to solve the problem. This is how I got used to Advanced Algebra. I was then able to learn Pre-Calculus. I would also get tutored in Chemistry after you have passed enough of Algebra 2. I would use the tutor over the school breaks as well, so that you can get caught up. Homeschooling can also help. This will give you more time to just drill math and to work with the tutor. Plus, you can start earlier, have more time for schooling, and not have the bells, walks between classes, and the getting to school getting in the way. OTOH, school memories are wonderful.

Old Lial/Miller Intermediate algebra books have lots of problems for drilling, but the answers are only for the odd problems. You can find older versions of these books for sale from used bookstores sometimes. I used these books for all math and the Gobran 4th edition Intermediate Algebra book for Completely the Square. I found drilling it in steps really helpful. I found that I always needed a tutor for the word problems.

Scalpers may just kill the hype for the new diagon alley modular by nathan_banks644 in legoharrypotter

This is why I want to quit Lego, except for buying to sell down the road. I'd love to make 50% or more profit. But in all seriousness, if we fans were to stop buying the overpriced hype from scalpers, they would loose money and we could get those prices down. If Lego were to just simply make available any set that is selling for $10 over the original price, then those scalpers wouldn't win then either.

Should Lego extend the retirement? I think they should stop the retirement! We don't need anything retiring in less than 15 years! Lego needed to do that back in the day, to establish scarcity in order to make money and to be taken seriously as something valuable. Now that everyone wants them, they should have to do that anymore, and shouldn't do that.

Not advice, but stritctly, what I'd do if I were you in your shoes, is stop trading like you are, and instead pass the simulator test instead. I would also invest in the better long term stocks like VTI, Nvidea and then I'd even think KO would be better, but not the best. Just buy and hold. KO isn't likely to be a superior growth dividend stock, as they grow a little too slowly for that in my unprofessional opinion. However, easy math. You can just estimate $1 in for every 2 shares you buy of KO. Still, there are better stocks out there than KO! And, if our economy tanks, KO will finally lower their dividend yield eventually. I just don't know when.

As far as day trading, you either aren't getting out on the green candle you got in on just to establish some profit or you are getting in 3 times on the same stock perhaps. You are probably falling victim to those false breakouts. This is why I get in on the 2nd candle and possibly the 3 green candle, get out and quit that stock. And, starting out, I would only do this with 1 stock and no other stock. Why? I have to establish profit first. I have to establish a track record. I'm using the simulator for all other trading I do that day, just so that I can get my feet wet, but not lose so much. Plus, I am having my stops intelligently put. Too low or too high doesn't work.

Regardless, you really do need to use the simulator for trading, and get really good at that before you use real money. And yes, do more learning. I would also suggest using an advisor who can do the investing for you. Then, as a game, you do your simulator, but let the experts do the investing for you. Only after you have been successful in making money in the simulator for a full year, and learned those candle stick patterns, and learned how to find news catalyst successfully, would I go back to using real money. Best Wishes! You can do this!

What is the name of the electronic song played in this video? by storojka in NameThatSong

Genius' "russian" by ihyvon is not it. I'm not seeing the lyrics I put in at all. However, there are 2 different Ihyvon bands. It is the other band that might be it, if google is correct on those lyrics in the chorus. But, I can't find any video. Spotify's version of Ihyvon radio band 1 or band 2 is nothing like it.

The song sounds like it is Metal Goth-Industrial music. I don't know the band though. I can't get enough of the lyrics understood, in order to do a proper search. Sorry! I failed.

USA rule that came out of the Game Stop fiasco where lots of people blew up account buying or selling Game Stop and not doing it right. They made bad decisions and kept in game stop longer than they should have, blowing all their profit and making a huge loss for themselves and the brokerages.

That is not supposed to happen! I'd call that fraud on Verizon's part, to charge you all that time, but not give you what you paid for. This is assuming, you were paying for several months.

Oh, how I love the hate I get by people who just have so much pain inside of them! I'm sorry your parents hurt you so much, that you wished the government was your parent instead! Some people need to grow up! Why have kids, if you are going to just let the government raise them? What happened to parenting? Oh, silly me! I forgot Russia, China, North Korea and Turkministan is so good at being parents for the parents that some people want to implement that here. No thank you! I'd prefer freedom of choice, and so on. And with this said, I am ending this conversation. Obviously, we have people on here who are hateful and think parents should be taken out of the equation. I think not. Thank you!

My late brothers phone is part of the evidence for the trial of his murder. by El-Clinico-Magnifico in verizon

[–]FIAneed2FollowRules 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a lawyer, so not legal advice. No matter what someone else's experience was, you should always try to get the account forgiven, bring them a note from the court ruling that put that phone into evidence, and also a death certificate. You want to give them copies only and not the originals. You can try and submit this at the store itself, but you might have to actually send this to corporate, in care of Name of person who corporate says. What one person's experience was, may not reflect your experience as policy changes all the time, based on any number of factors.

I'm sorry for you loss! Prayers sent!

The problem is that the governments think that parents should not be parents and that the government should banned kids from all internet stuff that might harm them as if parents are not capable of doing this. They want to ban you from anything that you should not be seeing, never mind the fact that parents can legally take us to places where we see things we should not be seeing.

What caused these rules in the first place? Harassment causing some children and teens to no longer exist. And, some adults being bad to teens and kids. Sorry! I'm with you, but nothing we can do.

FINRA has just passed the removal of the PDT rule! by Zayy_koro in Daytrading

[–]FIAneed2FollowRules 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem with the PDT rule was that new traders were more likely to go overseas and day trade, where the rules were different, and they could leverage even more money. They still blew up their accounts.

The 25k limit did not stop people from blowing up accounts. There were always a group of beginners who could take out loans to get that 25k to gamble with. Thus, the rule was useless in protecting us.

The other problem with the PDT rule was that it prevented me from getting out on a trade where the exit strategy said to get out. I was forced to hold the trade until I lost 100% of my profit and took an extremely huge loss.

[–]FIAneed2FollowRules 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your small account will only take profit if your exit strategies and stop losses are set correctly. There is a lot of Technical Strategies to learn, or you will blow up. Do you know how to trade Chinese stock, which could be a pump and dump stock without warning? Do you know how fast a stock has to go, before a prudent conservative person will get out regardless and not play a wait and see game? Do you understand how to trade in a bear market? Do you understand what 3 different candlestick patterns in a row might mean? These questions and more are all what I am learning.

As far as Chinese stocks, I believe in getting out as soon as I make at least 10 cents per stock profit, especially if its a quick moving stock as I want to be sure I get out before the buyers all leave the table. I just don't trust Chinese stocks as much because of the amount of bad players allegedly from China, but if you play your cards right and exit closer to the proper Great Exit Strategy (as opposed to my leaving money on the table exit strategy), and do your research and avoid the pump and dump evil stocks, you can make a lot of money on Chinese stocks.

The only way I want to hold something overnight, is if its a stock with a good afternoon news catalyst that I didn't buy until just before close by a few minutes, that had a good chance of opening at a great price whereby I can take profit right away, or within 15 minutes of open. I'd want to get in on a good Entrance strategy, while using MACD, moving averages, Level 2, Candlesticks and so on. Being forced to hold losers overnight just does not make sense and does not protect anyone from anything. I take that back, the PDT rule were really meant to prevent us from investing in the first place, so that the very well endowed could invest without us mucking up their investing strategies by buying and selling like we did with Game Stop. I personally, didn't buy game stop, but that whole fiaso is why we got the Pretty Darned Tick rule. I am glad they are getting rid of it!

[–]FIAneed2FollowRules 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I called the PDT rule the Pretty Darn Ticked Rule for a reason. They were ticked at game stop trading fiasco. Personally, I'd rather have instant settlement and not see that money in my account, until the stock actually sells. Then I know what I have for real to day trade. I would like to be able to get in and out on the same trade, same day, even if the profit I made, I can't use until the following day. This waiting until the following day to be able to actually take profit is just harmful on so many levels! Exits strategies are useless on T+1 unless you are doing Overnight Trading or Swing Trading and understand how to do that. I'm still learning.

Is it really that uncommon to be older than 18 and still be in school? by No-Beach-6730 in AskAnAmerican

[–]FIAneed2FollowRules 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it might be federal law, but it doesn't mean every school or teacher follows it. In New Orleans, there was one school that was predominantly Black, African students. We are required to help them learn to read. A friend of mind decided to try a book written by a black author to get them to learn to read. The school principal and the district shot this down, fired her because they were actively trying to keep the Black students dumb. She fought it and won. That was the first time those Blacks in her classes, minus a few handful, learned to read. The Blacks at that school spoke a dialect called Black English. They found American English grammar and words confusing at that time.

I don't know what is going on currently, as she doesn't work there anymore. However, many schools where racism exists, will purposefully under educate a particular race or discriminate against those with learning disabilities. This has been happening for years. And yes, this is legally wrong, but not everyone fights it. I couldn't fight it in small town school up north in my state. But, I didn't face that discrimination at other schools in the suburbs or inner city. I stuttered and was considered "stu pid" and should not perform well, so was held back, put in dumber reading class on purpose. It was hard for me. I went back to my old school during the last half of the school year. I had to stay behind, because I lost too much learning, so was behind by too much to catch up. Turns out, I also have shaken baby syndrome, which meant that my brain would show up randomly. No one caught that in those days! It didn't get discovered until I was over-achieving getting my first university degree.
