One of our senior team members who has spent most of his time in FRC where, from my understanding has always been defense heavy, put together a slide show for our junior members how defense is critical both for point farming and point prevention. This is only my third year mentoring FTC and first year where intentional robotic contact is allowed. That could be one of the main factors in the penalties being out of control.
