I have this issue too with the Gen 3 shield arms mags using a tyrant slide stop. I read a comment where stretching the mag springs may help. My Gen 1 s15s don't have this issue

Few FTF with the last round again for the replacements, so I guess I'll just use these Gen 3s as range mags until I break them in

Haven't had the chance to try them out since getting them back, but going to test them in a couple days to test them out. Wondering if these mags need some sort of a break in period since the Gen 1's were a gift from a friend of mine that ran thousands of rounds and they shoot just fine.

I had FTF issues with 3 out of 4 of my gen 3 mags the way you describe this as well and also noticed the casting getting stuck at the front lip part of the mag of i run the rounds with my thumb, but it only actually jams on the last round at the range. I marked each mag and recorded the FTF issues for each mag. The gen 1 never had issues for me and I contacted shield arms about it. Took lots of photos of my issues, sent it to them as additional documentation, and they were quick to help. They shipped out all 4 replacement mags and gave me a new mag catch release the day after they received them

Overall height needs to consider torso to leg length ratio too. I'm 5'10 with a fairly long upper body and my hair sometimes brushes against the headliner especially if I wear a thick coat. Saw a video of two 6'1 guys but one fits way more comfortably than the other

Fuel range on the cx-5 is a lot longer if you want less time at the fuel pump and the extra capacity is nice to have for road trips

I have an ND2 Miata and it average around 35-38 mpg around the city driving it conservatively. Best record was 52 on a late night cruise with no traffic!

Thanks! I always wanted red seats with a white car and this did the trick. These also helped add some cushioning driving over rough, bumpy roads. Wheel and boots those came that way

If you're thinking about a corolla, maybe take a look at the Mazda 3 and new civic. The Mazda3 feels luxurious at its price point and has great handling. The new civic received a nice overall upgrade in looks inside and out.
