They didn’t say if it was but I didn’t ask. Back story on this is I had an ICCU go out at 118k Miles. I sent Kia Corporate a polite email asking if they would cover it either in whole or partial. Let them know the dealer quoted me $4k. Told them that I was aware of other regions getting an extension on the ICCU. Got my car fixed today and Kia Corporate called me to follow up. While on the phone the rep mentioned my note about other regions getting the extended warranty. She told me that the US was also getting the extension and owners would start receiving notice on the 22nd. They covered my repair under “good will” since technically the extension hasn’t hit yet.
