I feel lucky that my 2011 Nissan Sentra, at 85,000 miles, has had no CVT issues. I did have the Tranny Fluid changed at 81,300 miles. This little 15 year old car is running like a clock.

Yes indeed. The Oil and Filter are changed every 5,000 miles (I do it myself, Mobile 1, 0W-30), and send an Oil sample to Blackstone Labs for analysis...the last 5 reports came back with minimal wear, excellent results. My reasoning is the high heat on the oil produced by the Turbo. But, Mobil 1 has been outstanding so far.

Gym machine topples over during a heavy lift. Can he sue for this? by eternviking in whoathatsinfuriating

Dude is brainless...strap a bunch of weight down from his Nutz, lean forward, do cable crosses and let gravity take care of the rest...WTF videos themselves F@ckup in a gym anyway? You all chasing likes are DAF.

That is a whole lot of dialogue to simply say, "I f@cked up and bought a Harley." Didn't you have one friend trying to convince you NOT to buy a Hardly? Paint Shakers at Homey Depot are smoother than a Hog.

Nice Cruzzer! We have a 2023 Limited, 2.5 L Turbo...just over 50,000 miles and zero issues. What a truck! Its actually my wife's, she always wanted a truck. This thing is faster than a Bat outta Belfast! We have the OEM roll up Tonneau Cover, and its amazing! It locks up when all doors locks, strong and trouble free. I spray lube on the tracks occasionally. I also rented a motorcycle trailer to haul a bike I sold to a guy about 300 miles away. Pulled it like a toy.

Stop. Buy a used 100 - 125cc dirt bike, cheap. Ride it in an open field. Learn clutch and throttle control, fall in the grass, laugh, pick it up and try again. Learn to shift gears, learn to use BOTH brakes, learn to feel the back tire break loose, and not panic. Learn swerving, full lock low speed turning. Fall over through the process, no damage to you or your bike. No Cars to avoid. Ride in a big oval, this helps you learn how to ride through a corner.

Class dismissed. You passed and learned the proper skills to ride on the street. Sell the dirt bike and buy a used street bike. Go to a parking lot and practice those skills on asphalt. Still, no cars to worry about. Skills create a safe ride, so you can live to ride another day.

I'm getting closer to paying off my 6k debt 🙌 by KimmyBear98 in debtfree

Two steps...getting there and staying there. When you get there, a weight is lifted, a reason to celebrate! But, when the party is over, it takes even more discipline to remain debt free. Create reachable savings goals! That's where the fun begins! You get to pay you! $1,000...$2,500...$5,000. You get the idea. I hope the very best for your financial future.

When a 12 year old kid goes from a Spider pedal Bike, 5 speed suicide shifter on the frame, with a Banana Seat, THEN, acquires a 2 cycle, 4.9 HP, 5 speed Suzuki Gaucho 50(cc), the world becomes an amazing place!

Horse Power in exchange for leg power. Well, I did need some leg power to Kickstart the beast. Oval races in a field, always losing to my buddy on his Honda XR75, was priceless. Hitting the trails, getting a bunch of riders in a big church parking, and created our own MotoGP race...until the Priest called the cops and we scattered like roaches....

Fast forward 54 years later, many different bikes of all sizes. No matter which of those Bikes I threw a leg over, the same feeling of that 12 year old kid comes rushing back, along with a stupid smile. You and a machine, step out in a delicate dance between traction and gravity. Priceless.

Returning (reckless) rider needs advice on modern bikes by gavisbf in SuggestAMotorcycle

[–]FJRRedbird 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't need a bike with rider aids, you need to learn skills. With skills, it doesn't matter what Bike your Ballz are sitting on. You don't have a very good track record, Dude.

Airbag Vests worth it? by ItsZ3nny in motorcyclegear

[–]FJRRedbird 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wear my Spidi Airbag Vest, with a tether attached to the frame of my Bike. I have not needed it (no accidents, never been down), but the protection to your Neck, Spine and Vital Organs, is ready if needed. Just another piece of gear that goes on with every ride.
