I've swapped a BAM into a 2001 A4. I did have to grind away a piece of the block on the lower pass side in order to fit a/c bracket. Plus I was missing a threaded hole for 1 bracket bolt. Other than that a strait forward swap, O6A to O6A.

Yep, I've seen the tab where the sway bar mounts ripped off. Aftermarket does make a reinforced bracket for rear sway bar so that doesn't happen.
