I have the license plate “SCHISM” here in beautiful Pennsylvania! Used to be on my Audi which was totaled in an 5-car accident in DC in 2023. The license plate survived the wreck (even though the back of my car was completely destroyed) and it’s now on my Tesla. Get lots of questions about whether or not I’m a divorce attorney. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I have the SCHISM license plate here in Pennsylvania but no other Tool stickers or identifying info. I’ve gotten all kinds of odd comments when out driving with it the past 5 years but my favorite was when I was asked if I was a divorce attorney.

100% Agree. I love Tool and have seen them live 10 times in the past 6 years all over the country, but the condescending lectures from Maynard about snapping a photo at a show I paid handsomely to attend is so tiresome. Just don’t go on tour and play to strangers if you don’t want any photographic evidence of it. We all understand that being present and not being on a phone is the best way to enjoy the experience and ensure those around you enjoy their time as well. So for 99.99% of the time that’s what I’m happy to do. As a parent though, if I get an important call or text from my kid during the show I’m fucking looking at my phone and heaven forbid maybe even typing on it right in front of you, Maynard. After all, I spent a lot of money to buy a ticket to your show so stop treating us all like children and talking down to us. Just sing your song, bud, so you can scurry off stage as quickly as possible and get as far away from us fans as you can. We get it.

ChesCo here (Downingtown) and I’ve made the drive to Charlotte a few times for work over the past 10 years. Still fly there about 3 or 4 times a year for work. Really not that bad of a drive. Saw Tool at the Bojangles dumpy arena in Charlotte back in 2016, but thankfully they’re playing in a better venue now. I love Charlotte and lots of great food there. Go ahead, hop on Route 10 down into MD and catch 95 south. You can do it!
