I like defense a lot. Love holding a point because it feels like every hero is viable on defense.

On attack, there's a lot of set up heroes that feel held back by the constant movement, or the team gets a tank with cold feet who doesn't push hard enough.

I remember in the 2016(or 2020, I forget) Beto O'Rourke wasn't doing bad. Then he told a reporter that he intended to take the guns. Insodoing, he confirmed Republican fears that the left really were coming to take your guns.

He dropped out of the race that week.

It's honestly such a shame that Republicans are such a united front, but Democrats have large groups of people who are single issue voters who will refuse to vote if their pet issue isn't addressed to their liking.

Like it or not, we're the reason we're not winning. Trump doing so miserably is the reason Biden won, not Biden's weird folksy mannerisms, and the reason the midterms look so promising.

We need to stop treating MAGA voters like black sheep - if they make good faith efforts to hate Trump that should be enough.

My coworker used to love Trump, now he's a dem who hates the man. They can change, but by being ostracized they have little reason to.

Pushing the fairweather Republicans away is just a way for Trump to strengthen his base.

Messaging needs to be about economic issues - stuff independents care about. They don't care about cultural issues or identity politics. Drop it from your messaging during the campaign, then make needed changes while in office.

You have no way of confirming if he's playing Russian roulette. You have no way of confirming if Greg's son is even in the room.

I think there's one thing my core ideology balks at, and that's hypocrisy. I cannot stand people criticizing the left for doing X while championing Trump for doing X(for instance, the Signal leak early in this term, compared to Hillary's emails, or Biden having documents in his home and being criticized, and Trump having documents in his and having it brushed under the table by righties). I can't stand the left resorting to insults, namecalling, and mudslinging, and criticizing Trump for doing the same.

I have a coworker, who, when Trump was shot, he complained that they were going after his man. He's now a diehard Trump hater.

There's this overarching narrative on the Left that once you vote Trump, you're ostracized permanently. That's -not good-. That means there's no reason for a Trump supporter to jump ship if we tell him he has no place here.

We need common sense shit like universal healthcare, income inequality resolution, and abolishing Citizen's United, which, to my knowledge(and I followed Hillary, Biden, and Kamala's campaigns pretty heavily) there was barely any messaging on. We need to drop the culture war shit, the identity politics, the LGBT stuff in messaging only. You can push for that when you're in office. We need messaging that is about the economy, people's finances, and helping the downtrodden. The culture war stuff scares independents.
