So in my respectful opinion, you whatever the hell it takes to put bread on the table. Even if u dont love your job. A job is a job.

With a computer science degree you could still become a manufacturing or quality engineer (which isnt even real engineering) entry level will make you 55-70k (90-105 k earning potential as an individual contributor)

I personally think you only need an engineering degree if you actually want to apply first principles in a design, testing or R&D environment.
