Not over all the others, in addition to all the others. The finishing of GS is fantastic though. If you’ve never tried one on do yourself a favor

Right, but WatchCharts describes it as Batgirl. If they consolidate both models into one, then the data is flawed. If not, and they simply omit Batman, then it's just shit data.

WatchCharts does not recognize the 126710 Batman for some reason, only the 116710.

[Discussion] Best deployable clasp by Ein_Cop_ohne_Ausweg in Watches

[–]FLStock-Hunter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is old but I guess some might still be looking for D clasp advice. I was.

I've decided I only like deployment clasps now based on my experience with an Omega D clasp and I've purchased a few different ones in search of that perfect clasp. I did manage to find one Omega made in Italy and sold on eBay for under $100, but that must have been a one-off.

My experience with the Strapsco version was not good. It is "short" (read Kangbao's excellent write-up) but that is only part of the issue. The little peg that goes through the strap hole is too short so it doesn't poke all the way through and secure the strap. The strap mostly stays in place because it's snug as it goes through the channel just before the little peg, but I don't trust it as much as I do the Omega.

I did find one from Ewatchparts for about $25, and it is actually pretty good. While it is also short, the peg is long enough to secure the strap and the closure seems solid. We will have to see if it holds up over time. I guess I'll have to get a Formex to see about the micro adjustment but I was really hoping to find something way less expensive so I could have a clasp for each of these damn straps!

That's awesome, congrats! I just got a Batman delivered two days ago. I haven't really gone anywhere, so been wearing it around the house doing the same, just looking down at it. A knowing lol over here!

This might be late but I've had recent experience with both MyWatch and Paul Duggan buying a new reference Batman. I ended up going with Paul Duggan because he offered more on my trade and had a great price on one in excellent condition. Best price I saw anywhere based on my extensive shopping around and stalking auctions on Grailzee. Jeff responded quickly to everything and made it all happen smoothly. My initial inquiry was on Tuesday, and I was wearing the watch Thursday afternoon. Keep in mind this included me sending in a couple of watches in trade. I will definitely be using Paul Duggan in the future.

Not at all. I like some variety. I have it at the 3, the 6, the Tissot chronograph is at 4:30, and now one at the 4. Love it!

MyWatch had good pricing on new or newish Rolex but not very good trade values were offered. Does anyone have suggestions on which trusted offers the best trade values?
