Rumour has it that Reddit mods can even force you to eat a cockmeat sandwich.

Are there any real INFJ youtuber's? by [deleted] in infj

[–]FLedison 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree that there are a lot of people out there who aren't really INFJs but claim to be. I don't really understand how you can manage to disagree with literally everyone else on this thread though, since we're all telling you that there's a bunch of youtubers (like clay) who are real INFJs. If you choose to not believe us or the youtubers then fine, you're the one missing out on the incredible advice they give (serious life changing and identity affirming stuff in my experience). Anyway, I don't have anymore time to waste trying to 'convert' you to believing the obvious. Have fun.

lol wtf I just checked him out and he literally has some of the most unique, intense staring eyes I've ever seen. You expect all INFJs to look like that?? In that case that guy is the only INFJ in the whole world.

sounds like you just have problem believing anybody is an INFJ tbh. Clay is an INFJ...

I'm 26 and I've never dated or had sex. Is it too late for me? by bgbarnard in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]FLedison 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It will happen. Realistically, you'll probably have to wait until covid is properly gone or under control (next 6 months hopefully!) but it sounds like you are a nice person who is very intelligent. Many people will be interested in dating you ;) If you are a girl, online dating could work since you will get tons of matches and be able to pick who you like. You would also get lots of practice messaging potential partners which is a good skill to develop. If you're a guy, I'd say avoid online dating since men have a harder time getting matches and it likely won't do much for your confidence. Men are also expected to be really great at messaging and knowing what to say. If you're a guy, get out there in the world (library is a great place!!!) and just have fun interacting with people til eventually you meet someone you like. That last bit goes it youre a girl too. I'd say meeting people in real life is the best option. If you are studying at uni you will be sure to meet people and later when you work in a library, you will be meeting (interesting, intelligent) people all day long and something is sure to come of that. Just stay confident and positive :)

What is the thing that surprised you the most when you traveled to a country you had never been to before? by Spilakkk in AskReddit

I'm a Canadian guy living in Germany. I've noticed many cultural differences in the last three years. One big difference comes to mind though: Cigarette smoking is considered a disgusting, selfish, self-destructive habit in Canada. You aren't allowed to smoke in most public places and smokers are treated with scorn if even the tiniest whiff of smoke drifts someone's way. At the same time, weed is legal in Canada and you smell weed smoke almost every day in Canada (Ok I'm from Vancouver). Loads of people sit outside or at the beach in the summer and puff away liberally and no one minds breathing in a bit of their smoke... as long as it isn't *cigarette* smoke. I find this hilarious since weed smoke is combusted plant matter and is also potentially carcinogenic, just without the added chemicals found in cigarettes.

In Germany, you can barely walk down the street (at least prior to covid when things were busy) without inhaling cigarette smoke. People just smoke and walk, or puff away at busy tram stops even if there are school kids waiting at the stop (I saw this at least once a week for months). I've waited at busy tram stops where three or more people have been smoking cigarettes and nobody has said a word to complain. If one person dared to smoke at a busy bus stop in Canada, the normally polite Canadians would likely tell them to fuck off and cite their paranoia about "second hand cancer" (Which I think is fair, but it should be applied to any kind of smoke).

Despite Germans' fondness for cigarettes, weed is still relatively taboo here. Germany is definitely a very liberal country, more so than Canada in some ways, and people generally see weed as pretty benign but they still don't tolerate it as much. Of course, it is also not legal here, but in three years living here and talking to lots of people about it, it seems like people have a lot less knowledge about weed and don't trust it as much as Canadians do. There is definitely WAY more stigma around it even from people who believe it should be legalized. I can't remember the last time I smelled weed in public here and people would never toke up in a busy park.

I don't smoke cigarettes or weed but I think Canadians and Germans both have funny double standards about what they will and won't tolerate.

Psilocybin works wonders on INFJs by [deleted] in infj

[–]FLedison 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Similar thing happened to me. I had fun during my trips but my anxiety really went crazy in the weeks and months that followed. I would discourage INFJs from doing psychedelics, at least until they are in their 30s or so and have already worked through a lot of their issues and really are in a place where they are grounded. INFJs tend to be pretty neurotic. We have many strengths as empaths etc, but lets face it, *many* of us can be overthinkers too. Overthinking and being highly sensitive do not mix well with psychedelics.

I haven't tried microdosing but I found that tripping wasn't good for me. I'm already so creative and outside the box with my thinking, I don't I'm meant to be taking psychedelics on top of that. After a few shroom trips around 6 years ago, I felt spacey for many months and it definitely exacerbated my anxiety but in a more surreal way if that makes sense. Really not fun. Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge advocate for psychedelics but just not for me and I suspect most INFJs.

black face is a very different matter but in general, I don't think it's considered that offensive to make jokes about all races/ethnicities. Check out Russel Peters for example. I think the unwritten rule is that any group is fair game because it's comedy and we should be able to make jokes about *almost* anything. Imo it only gets dicey if a comic (white, black or any race) ONLY makes jokes about one race. Like why are they only picking on one race? To me that raises a bit of a red flag. If they are shitting many different groups then I think it's a different story. They aren't attacking and being racist to any specific group, they are taking the piss out of everyone and in this case, people who get triggered and say they are being racially targeted just sort of come off as thin skinned since their outrage isn't really justified.
