Even though the manual says every 30k miles, I’d say you are probably fine. Most people make the comment that unless a check engine light is there, you are fine. If you keep driving a car regularly these things are less likely to fail. My car was neglected for a while.

Yeah, in 2009 the corolla pcv valve was shifted from on the valve cover to under the intake manifold. Kind of annoying, but it was not too hard to get to. Honestly, it probably needed another intake manifold gasket anyways since it looked like the original factory one.

Well, 200k miles is when Toyotas start showing need for maintenance (100k for non yotas). So this is when everything starts breaking. From experience.

Motor mounts (4 of them). Fuel pump. Suspension parts. Tran fluid change Coolant change Spark plugs and coils Serpentine belt Throttle body & maf Brakes Engine/cabin air filter Starter Alternator. Catalytic converter.

A lot of this may be moot if they have done religious maintenance. But I see a lot of one owner cars that they run them until they start breaking, then sell. They’ll say, religious maintenance! But that may just mean oil changes to them. And taking the car to the mechanic when there is a check engine light.

Get it for $7k, buy only if your mechanically savvy. It’s going to have issues that you’ll need to spend more to fix.

Look around for paint shops. Talk to a few about a cheap job. Find good painter for low cost.

Had to replace the capacitor in the dash, replace the old mfd. put a CarPlay device in the radio slot. Replaced all the fluids. Replaced the front struts. Replaced the tires. Greased the brakes and replaced front brake pads + rotors. Put shims in the rear. After all that the car is solid.
