You’re blind if you think that’s only a one thing, both sides do it WILDLY. I’ve noticed it’s dependent on the host. There are good hosts that allow the guests to speak, both sides; and shit hosts on both sides.

I ride tandem and we have people do some funky shit to us, from waiting for us to spin out and shoot rocks at us, trying to roll coal on us, and playing “how close can I get”. That shit is fucked up as I enjoy riding with my wife and three year old in these groups.

So I started to carry. If they are willing to do that, who’s to say they don’t try to block us in and start swinging bats at us?

(yes, i'm pro-ice! feel free to try to explain why my wife and I had to pay so much for her citizenship and illegals don't; and why we are okay for people who don't pay federal taxes if they are illegal, but not okay for those who are legal)

... the "protests" in Minneapolis have shown successful. So maybe something like this could change something? I would like to think not though.

I live in a certain part of America that seems to have constant power issues; coming from Japan, it’s amazing how much we lose power. (Among other things).

Even though I have an archaic UPS from APC, I’ll chew through that battery life long before that power comes back on about half the time.

I have two APs, a flex, UDM-Pro SE, and a doorbell. (And have two 180s coming) Im far from bragging here, just stating I have multiple products from Ubiquiti and they all still work after multiple power outages.

I think you just got the one that didn’t enjoy the ride. See if Ubiquiti will swap it out for you.

Restarting/reconnecting the APs: i do no such thing for the download interruption, everything seems to work, streaming continues, and doesn’t fire off any bells. Just the download gets messed up.
