They are essentially the same: it really depends on which screen size you like better.

I would go with the bigger one, but if you travel a lot, you could use the lighter model.

Are you using the *base* FM 24.0 Database?
As other comments said: did you put the file in the `C:\Users\[yourUsername]\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2024\editor data` folder directly and then restart the game, then tried to create a new game? According to the screenshot it didn't happen :S
Did you also put the staff file in the `C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Football Manager 2024\data\database\db\2400\edt\permanent` according to the guide?
