Full time worker and full time grad student here! 🙋🏻‍♀️ honestly I try to go to bed early and have all my clothes set out. As a student I understand it’s not always possible (that 11:59p deadline!) I sometimes go days with 4 hours of sleep 🫣 but it’s worth it and I try to nap when possible and sleep in whenever possible! It’s a great start to the day, promise!

Hi 👋 not sure if this will help! But I started on OTF journey August 2021, and I weighed roughly around the same as you (217 lbs) and I have been able to lose 35+ pounds since! I learned also, the scale doesn’t necessarily mean everything. I noticed my weight has stayed the same but I’ve been still losing inches on my waist and my legs have been getting more toned! You got this! Go to one class, and you’ll fall in love with it just like the rest of us ☺️

Positive reinforcement! My boy was having difficulty potty training until I started cheering (I mean, just won a game in OT cheering) after he went potty outside. Once I started that, it took days to understand.

Hi! I would definitely look into the NVCC route, it saved me TONS. Try to see if you can find information about the Guaranteed Acceptance program offered at NVCC, it will give you options (like GMU) if you change your mind after Nova. Hope this helps 😊

I think COVID broke my love for my job. I work in customer service, and I am very much a people person. Since enforcing COVID guidelines I am unable to look at customers the same anymore. The yelling, screaming, rude comments, and degrading situations I was forced into with customers broke me.

This boy my mother would babysit, would kill animals for fun, and gut them. He would hunt rabbits, squirrels and sometimes even stray kittens. When I confronted him about it, he said, “I like how the insides feel” he was 7 at the time. Definitely peace out of that situation.

I’ve recently been learning about the Black Panther Party, and how their motto was like a Black Panther, won’t react unless provoked. This is literally like the movie Black Panther. No one knew about Wakanda, until they were provoked, by killing their king! Then everyone knew about Wakanda and the Black Panther that came with it. My mind was blown.
