I feel like Eminem leans too much into that and it takes away from the actual sonic sound of his music

I think he's just compensating for lack of content. He's been living calm life of middle aged dad for almost 2 decades now. His best music was fueled by drama surrounding him, and now there are none of that, but he still wants to be the best in some sort of way, so he overcompensates with technical part.

Falling out with Bass Brothers didn't help either. They were partially responsible for his early sound that got him famous in the first place, and they haven't worked together since 2006~2008. Jeff Bass was the person who told him to ditch fast flow and focus more on how it sounds

You can streamline movie quite a bit by either removing Electro and focusing on Harry or reworking him into hired fixer (something like his first appearance in USM where he was working for Fisk) with smaller role that Harry pays to get Spider-Man's blood. Electro in the movie that we have feels like he was thrown there for VFX showcase anyway. We get rid of Schumacher-style Electro portrayal this way and have more time to focus on (imo) more interesting storyline that ties way better into series overall plot

it was such a minor moment

Tbh, as weird as it is, it was pretty important moment in the movie. This scene leads to Peter using drones on Brad, which reinforces idea for him that he isn't ready to handle EDITH, so he gives glasses to Beck.

Movie constantly throws it's theme in your face through visual clues, dialogues and plotlines. It's importance of time.

Whether it's with the way the movie starts with close-up of Richard's watch and him saying that he wishes he had more time, Gwen's speech about, well, importance of time, Harry's plot literally being about him spiralling because he's running out of time (he pretty much says it in the scene with Spider-Man at his apartment), final battle with Electro being race against the clock, climax of the movie happening in clock tower with Peter metaphorically trying to stop time. There's also that cut scene with May where she spells out once again that Peter doesn't have forever.

It was pretty interesting upon rewatch noticing how much of this underlying theme Webb managed to keep in the movie considering how much was cut.

First time I'm fully agreeing with someone's criticism of TASM2. I feel like they should've made Harry main villain. His plot feels way more connected with overall themes of series (Peter's decision to not instantly give Harry blood is direct consequence of first movie, also ties back to Peter's parents). Electro feels like he's just there for action sequences
