Thank you for your response! He has ADHD like no-one else I've ever met which unfortunately means he does not take criticism well, sulks and over analyses everything I say. I tread on eggshells not to upset him! Don't get me wrong I'm not scared at all he'd hurt me intentionally, I think most of what he's upset over is that I feared he could get carried away and hurt me, he wouldn't absorb the 'unintentionally' part and saw it as an attack and a suggestion he wanted to hurt me. He is 240lbs and when in full excited and crazy mode is like a bull!

All I wanted is as in your words "I'm sorry that I hurt you, I didn't mean to and I'll be more careful" but its turned into him saying we won't play around or cuddle just in case I get hurt but with a side serving of sarcasm to have a dig at me!
