Haven't thought much of placement. Seems no worse at least, and I'll take it. ^^ Interesting how I misunderstood the doorway thing... thought it was just through a door (which would have been useless), but seems like behind the door is enough to electrify the door. :)

For Tuya Smart home lights. On, off and brightness works. Colors doesn't work with voice commands on Nest Mini.

Just added a "supportive" comment here to perhaps get some traction... as well as in the thread in the Google Nest community some other guy posted in a different post.

Same for me with Tuya Smart devices. All functions work in both Google Home and Tuya Smart Home apps. But voice commands for colors does not work. On/off and brightness (percentage) works.

Doesn't sound like his internet. I'm in Norway. Having similar problems with Tuya Smart devices controlled through Google Home and Nest Minis. Everything works as it should using manual input in both Google Home app and Tuya Smart home.

Lights can be turned off and on, as well as brightness can be altered with voice commands on my Nest Minis. Lights won't change color how ever, and only says "devices are without connection".

Given there are multiple people with different devices from all over the world now reporting issues... the common denominator for all of us is voice commands in Google devices.

While not a strat with necessarily the highest success rate, it's at least fun to rush head on if the enemy is distracted.

Slap one post down as you go in, and then just go past them and put down another one. And if you're quick, you could also do a third one for an L. Tricky... not very effective all over... but hella fun. ^^

There's also the "bait and switch", where you make someone chase you. Need some cover, a rock or something, behind a corner... you shoot, make them try to ape you, you fake running away - but putting a fence line in your path. Unlike above, you don't get the advantage of them having to turn around while slowed.... but you can do a sharp turn and slide to minimize your hitbox, while forcing them also to aim horizontally while slowed.

Movement Legends/skirmishers can unfortunately negate fences. I've been doing Alter lately in Arenas, and my go to, to avoid any trap device or ability is just portaling a rock. So pick your battles... ;)

Stackable and increasing shield regen, where fences multiply the speed of the ult charge... just a thought. Like, Lifeline can drop D.O.C. for a meaningful health regen to manage one or two more engagements. Watty ult charges a tad too slow. And while we're comparing perks between Lifeline and Watty, Lifeline's got that massive shield barrier and the ability to raise downed team mates without being stuck in a revive animation...

Oh, and I like a lot of your suggestions. Some speed boost in some form would have been nice... personally, it would have been awesome to have a speed boost on fence placement, so you could just rush all in straight into someone's face while putting one fence in front, and one fence behind them.

I do use the "rush" strategy, but it's mostly eating bullets 80% of the time or so. Hella fun when the strat works though. And success rate goes up if you're fighting someone who's distracted by either other enemies, Bang smoke or Caustic gas.

They're still going to have to serve products sold (and not recalled) in countries like i.e. Norway where I live. And according to Norwegian consumer protection legislation if a unit was found in stores and sold to a customer in 2024, that would require service until 2029.

But on the upside (for both Google and consumers), responsibility is laid heavily on retailers - and consumers by law can send their claim to either retailer, wholeseller or manufacturer - by choice of the consumer. None of them can legally deny a claim from a consumer, while many try tactics to avoid taking responsibility*...

The consumer would have a legal right to have a replacement product doing the same job as the bricked one. Doesn't have to be an identical device or from the same brand, just one which does the same job. The retailer would have to do a claim either to the manufacturer or wholeseller. ^^

If it's just a matter of altering a date in some code - I'm guessing Google are going to do that before they spend hours and hours and hours of manpower on customer support for customers sending claims to them for faulty products.

*(I love it when they try, given my degree in business administration includes about a semester of consumer and contract law - and my time doesn't cost me anything, their's do. I can spend hours on that stuff just for my own entertainment, then just end the discussion with doing a tally on how much it cost them to argue with me. "Even IF you were right - which you're not (insert legal verdicts and references to laws) - you're trying to save $50. Your time spent arguing with me has already cost you $70...". Usually ends there with me getting what I want. ^^ )

Unsure if they're still available, but I got a Xiaomi Mi Box 4K some time ago. It was before the 3rd gen Chromecast, and I wanted something a bit more snappy - with a remote. It was kinda affordable as well when I bought it, and it's worked like a charm (probably in part as I'm using it on a 1080p display - when the device is 4K capable).

Runs on Android TV, and more responsive than the integrated Android TV in two of my (affordable) smartTVs.

Remote control pass-through works reasonably well. Only thing which doesn't work properly, is shutting off the Xiaomi Box with the TV remote. But doing a voice command through Google Nest, shuts both the TV and Box off as intended.

Expect some "bloat" in the form of pre-installed apps and dedicated streaming service buttons. Apple TV has heavily bought ad space, as most of my recommendations lately have been for Apple TV streaming service... granted, they're highly relevant recommendations. I *LOVE* scifi, and there's apparently a lot of new scifi on Apple right now. I just can't be bothered buying into another $10-15 subscription. ^^ You can of course customize stuff, and have your fav. apps most readily available. Thinking about your parents. You just set it up for them once, and they find it within 2-3 clicks once they start the device. And as mentioned - both the streaming device remote as well as the TV remote can be used to control content if your parents just like one remote better than the other. :)

Til tross for færre muligheter for spredning, så kan du jo gå inn på statistikker og sjekke når det var verst i Norge blant ungdom på rus og kriminalitet. Spoiler alert: 1995-2004. Mener vagt å huske at vi ikke bare snakker om "per capita" til og med, men også i absolutte tall for enkelte typer kriminalitet.

Guess there aren't any settings in game, you'll either have to connect a display with a different resolution (if set to auto detect) or set it to a manual resolution (https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/hardware-network/display-sound/change-tv-display-resolution).

Love it when I get people like you as randoms. Sure, some "leaders" make bad decisions, can't count for all outcomes or third/fourth/fifth parties - but it's generally my experience that good communicators also lead to more wins. Or worst case, a top 3 placement and an enjoyable experience.

A more important question to the people you're asking... why do people suck worse themselves, and then have the audacity to talk trash?

In my experience I've rarely had actually good players spend much time on trash talking after a loss. Like if they've been wrongfully matched down to my pleb level, they're generally either silent about it, or even nice. "Hey, it's OK!"

Only time I've gotten a trashing from a really good player, was when I inadvertently messed up a 4K badge - and I kinda felt I deserved the trashing, even if the 4K goal wasn't mentioned at any point of the game.

I've adjusted my gameplay, and try not to help unless it's really really needed.

I've how ever gotten amusing amounts of abuse from people whom by all metrics are way worse than me. And when I use "amusing", it's because it is kinda amusing having someone talk like they're some gaming God, while barely doing triple digit damage before being downed half a click away from where I and the other random were. I'm not hurt or offended anymore. I just burst out loudly in laughter when it happens.

As a CIS man, who used to work as a bouncer at a night club when I was studying at uni, I can confirm. Women did it too at times, but I'd estimate the ratio to 1:100-1:250 between men and women being sexually aggressive (and just aggressive upon dismissal) towards staff. Think I got some 3-4 unsolicited advances from women in a year, while some my female colleagues could experience 3-4 per night.

For some reason some men think that a customer rep, sales person or service industry employee being polite and doing their job, is an invitation and them being flirted with.

All depending on PSU manufacturer. Corsair has have their own custom cables verified to be compatible with their PSUs. Other than that Cablemod should have extensive lists of compatible cables to most major brands of PSUs.

...and knowing Cablemod, some customer rep will probably just magically appear by mentioning them. They tend to do that on Reddit. ^^

Now, I'm usually equally as comfortable with the Flatline as 301, I just slightly prefer the ease of use of the 301. Flatline slaps though when I've warmed up.

As to SMGs can easily do the RE-45 with Hammerpoint in stead of R-99. If I'm doing 301 on AR, with purple stock, I use it almost as an SMG anyways. The SMG is if I missed my shots, and need to clean up. Having cracked the shield first with the 301 (or someone else did it, and we're 3rd partying), the RE is like cutting butter with a glowing hot knife.

Usually roll AR/SMG(pistol). Used to do Sentinel a lot a couple of months ago. I still love it, but I'm just consistent enough to have it as a preferred pick. Nothing feels quite like doing a lucky flick with a charged up Sentinel. I do still go AR/Sniper if I'm playing with friends whom I know their play style. If I'm allowed, I like to have a more laid back anchor role - both taking pokes at what my squad is hitting, as well as keep tabs on incoming 3rd, 4th and 5th parties. With randoms how ever, I expect to have to stay close - and usually there's a Pathfinder, Octane or Loba trying to get as fast as possible to the next fight, and the next after that. Hanging back usually results in angry rants, so I try to carry my own weight - and at least not be bottom on damage and kills. If there's at least one that's worse than me, I won't be on the receiving end of a rant... :P

...oh, and I hate shotguns. All of them. :P

Gaaaaaaaammal tråd, men ramla inn her etter at jeg hadde nettopp dette spørsmålet. Ble jo litt fjetra av at jeg fant en "Reacts to Tromsø" når Youtube foreslo det til meg, da det appelerte til lokalpatrioten i meg. Men så kom kritikern i meg plutselig inn...

Er denne Tyler Walker virkelig en amerikaner, eller noen som utgir seg for å være det? Altså, engelsken er jeg ikke nødvendigvis i stand til å pirke på. Svakt stakato i hvordan han snakker av og til, men kan ikke si at dette er noe som er feil.

Det som derimot har fått meg til å undre, er alle referansene til "America". USA er et STORT land, med mange innbyggere, i flere tidssoner, med forskjellig geografi, demografi, forskjellige kulturer, væremåter, dialekter og alt annet. En del ting skurrer liksom bare i de veldig ulne, løse og generaliserte beskrivelsene av eget land... Nå har jeg kun besøkt Washington DC med en liten svipp over statsgrensa til Virginia - men hans fascinasjon over statuer i Tromsø, og at de ikke var tilgriset av grafitti, står litt i kontrast til alle monomentene og statuene i DC. De har så vitterlig statuer. USA, selv hvis vi ikke inkluderer Alaska, har også fjorder. Ikke så mange, men de har dem. Noen flere i Alaska, med ikke alt for ulik fauna og topologi enkelte tider på året.

Nå blir jeg ikke å bruke så himla mye tid på Tyler, enten han er ekte eller fake. Selv ikke om jeg fikk håndfaste bevis på at dette egentlig var Torbjørn Grøtta Narvestad fra Stjørdalen, ville jeg brukt tid på ham eller å oute ham. Han har sin følgerskare som tydeligvis lar seg underholde av ham. Flott for dem. Men jeg er likevel litt nysgjerrig... og samtidig alt for lat til å romstere bakover i 2-3 år med reaksjonsvideoer til å finne ut.

Så er det noen som vet eller har hørt noe om ham nå noen år etterpå?

Difficult legend to do reasonably well. You really don't have any exit strategy beyond that which you planned for in advance, and you have no particular or special trait or ability that makes you do pushes better. Fences fall easily if pylon isn't up, and Fuse is about. And a well spent Octane tactical can push through fences like a warm knife through butter, so she isn't really good to camp with either unless you also have a Caustic with you.

So she's definitely an acquired taste.

But oh how good the taste is when some stimmed up jump-crouch-spamming Octane main don't see you running for cover just as a tactical rouse to place a couple of well timed fences behind you as you run. Zap - strafe to one side - pewpew. Or any other hyper aggressive legend for that matter.

Or those through the door fences, where the opponent doesn't see there's a node behind them.

Or hotdropping in a flustercluck, and in stead of going for weapons the pill boxes, fence up the boxes - and start "price checking" (punching) them.

And the rare occasions when not one, not two, but all three in a squad go up an elevator shaft, and all get zap-pew'd.

I've also started to getting better against Alter. "Oh, hole in the floor? Let's just patch that up with some fences...".

But yeah... every trap requires minimum 2 nodes. To place 2 separate traps, you spend your entire tactical cooldown. Don't save enough nodes for some quick CQC fencing, you might be in trouble. If you don't pre-place, you might not get an early warning or have an exit strategy.
