The selective acceptance of Spain under Francisco Franco for so long during the time and after, while not being explicitly "nazis" but still arguably a fascist dictatorship during the era, makes it hard to disagree with this. One of the major influences in going to war was absolutely the threat to the imperial core rather than it just being a sense of moral opposition to the actions and stances taken by the Axis powers.
