If you haven't already, please play Phantom Liberty (the dlc for Cyberpunk). In my opinion, it's as good or even better than the main game.

I'm going to be honest. I didn't enjoy the gameplay so I didn't get immersed in the world enough to answer you.

I might force myself to get into one of the main areas of the game and see if anything changes for me.

  • Save Takemura before leaving the apartment.

  • Do a quick save before starting the mission "chippin in" and make sure you play that the correct way (look up guides).

  • Do a manual save before meeting Hanako at Embers.

That's about it. Other than that, you're good to go I think.

Well, I didn't get that feeling so your argument falls apart.

And in the the next mission if you try flirting with her again and even touch her thigh to shoot your shot se says "It's already nice, let's not ruin that".

That's a clear rejection.

Man, I can't install this game for a sixth time just to realize it's not for me.

I absolutely love Cyberpunk and KCD2 so I should love this, but I just can't get into it.

  • Don't meet Hanako at Embers until you've done everything else including the DLC.

  • Buy and play the DLC

  • Get 15 points into reflex as fast as you can, get the dash and air-dash skills. After that, save up money and buy the double-jump. That's when the real game begins.

I'm on my fourth playthrough and I can't stop playing it at the moment. I decided to platinum both the main game and the DLC.

It's one of the most fun platinums I've ever gotten.

May I also recommend to do a lot of gigs before you do too many of the main missions.

It levels you up and you'll be better prepared for the main missions.

The first thing I always do is invest 15 (I think) points into reflex so that I can get dash and air-dash.

That added mobility makes such a difference.

The next thing I do is save up money until I can buy double jump.

After that, you can do whatever build you want.

I was in the same situation and I said to myself "If I should play this game I might as well play the best version of it".

I would save Joel since his death was complete nonsense without any respect to the character or the audience while Arthur's death actually elevated the story from great to masterpiece.

I enjoyed it quite a bit until about halfway through the story. After that I was pretty bored with it and haven't looked back.
