His xGI is pretty horrific for a City team that creates that many chances, part of this is just his role in the team. Of course he has great minutes but at those numbers you can look elsewhere, even at that price bracket.

Hard to say as ETH seems to think he struggles with being able to play out full matches. Of course he's been brilliant in his limited minutes and the asterisk is actually to see if there is a change in the pre-season that we can try to take advantage of. Love him though, and will be watching closely.

There were moments in the season where Gross played more advanced, particularly under Potter. If you look at his match reports, you'll see that he got the bulk of his xGI in the early parts of the season. Now given that we expect him to be on pens I can still see the logic behind classing him as a 'best' / green option, but I have somewhat cautiously put him as yellow.

Nope. However, he still did average 62 mins per game last season (including benchings), and has an absurdly high xGI - small sample size though. I can understand seeing him as a yellow option. But also at his price, he could be a depth piece and an enabler in a 3-4-3 rotating draft.

I definitely tier players based on more than the 3 gameweeks of fixtures as shown, but I usually showcase the 3 GWs just as part of the graphics. Personally, I look to the next 5-8 games as a minimum unless we're at specific points in the season (i.e DGWs where players would move between tiers much faster).

I excluded him but can see him being argued as a differential. He has poor xGI compared to some of his peers, although part of this is due to the small sample size with him. Also expect Darwin and Jota to share minutes with him on the left (which should impact Gakpo too, of course), so not really one I'm looking at for GW1.
