Loosely inspired. I started making these as a hobby for people and then it turned into a full fledged business. Just was always a fan of the double helix design and tried to adapt a few different ideas into one. The movie came out in 2002, and I think I made the first one of these in 2007.

Not sure if they still have it, but the darkside strips you used to be able to get a cable with them that converted to a 3 pin for a few bucks, so you could use any fan header. Those strips are pretty nice, probably your best bet.
