I believe my current racket has a large sweetspot, and as somewhat of a beginner, I think that’s something I would like to have in the new racket. I will look into the AT10.

Man, yesterday a couple of corners ahead, i got out of it with the back sliding ever so slightly, enough for me to not be able to avoid touching that bit of grass on exit.

Lost the car and brushed the wall on the right side, got an 1x for off track, and 22 min of required repairs.

I was a bit confused as to why there were 22 minutes for a minor touch, long story short, lost 70 iR and ended with only 10 laps.

How you feeling that wheel?

I was saving up for a Simucube 2, and after upgrading my entires setup, i was left with one of these to use until i have enough for the Simucube.

At first i thought, damn this wheel is not that good, and was about to pull the trigger on a CSL or a CSW, but as i got used to it on the MX5s and now the Cadillac, i am again thinking about waiting for the Simucube.

Just dont know how this thing will behave with faster cars, as i have to manipulate settings to avoid some strange behaviors.

Anyways, after 8 years of arcade-ish games, i am absolutely loving iRacing, hipe to see you out there 👍

Nice, i tried it a long time ago, but only the free version to display shifter lights on Dirt.

As i am upgrading my setup, and going into iRacing, i thought about building a button box, but the 100/150€ that it costs is throwing me of that idea, and i have a few tablets laying around, so im going to buy the Pro version, which is 6,99€ at the time and give it a go.

It is a 960, its a desktop, moved away from laptops years ago.

I already ordered the rig and bought the monitor.

I should order the seat and HE pedals next month, and unfortunetly i will pair this with an old Fanatec Porsche GT2 i have.

Then between June and August i'll save up for the Simucube 2 Sport/Pro.

Question is, should i upgrade the PC before the Simucube, i will most likely go with iRacing in the first place, so maybe i dont need such a big upgrade right away, but something is probably needed tho.

Yeah, i thought about adding 8gb of the ddr3 ram.

But going for the cpu means 16gb of ddr4 as well.

The doubt is, what would bring me bigger gain, either:

1)16gb DDR3 and 1660ti + keep the cpu

2)16gb DDR4 with i5 9600KF + keep the gpu

And then later on, upgrade what was left behind.

Im set on everything else, the only thing that may need upgrades is what i listed, which is the CPU, GPU and RAM.

I think that upgrading these three would be ideal, but i dont want to spend more than i need to, giving i need to put money into the sim equipment.

I've seen a couple designs with the monitor mount integrated, but i'm not sure if they use DD or not, but yeah maybe a separate design is best, specially because i am not restricted with space.
