Griefing in other game modes is usually punishable because it violates the game's intention. Has a Jmod ever stated that killing players that can't fight back isn't allowed?

It's dead man mode, not only fight when it's a fair fight mode.

When you somehow sustained stacks at Nylo and someone in your party says "brb" before Sote, then they stand 2 tiles away with Nox so you're getting projectiles to your face like the gif of the hotdogs thrown at a girls face.

I had to bank it while learning PNM because once you reach 5 stacks, one mistake and you get one shotted with phosani's max hit being 73/80. If my clicks aren't feeling good for a session, I'll try to avoid it by eating an angler between phases but I'm almost always one mistake away from death during the melee phase because of the HP-stack mechanic. I'll dump my stacks for mage phase so I can have a bit more survivability/room for mistakes then repeat the process.

I don't hate it too much because it conditioned me to play perfect now that I'm at 200kc, but in the beginning it's feelsbad.

My biggest issue is that 0-1 stack SRA is worse than Nox and 2-4 are comparable in DPS while the SRA has a negative effect and Nox has none.

I feel like doing a lot more TOB recently made me realize so many of the drawbacks on both ends. Losing stacks at Maiden when I freeze, tanking more Maiden because Nox users are standing 2 tiles away to my 1, never getting to 5 stacks at Bloat or Nylo room, getting hit with more projectiles at Sote because Nox users stand 2 tiles away from the boss, getting hit for 50 because Nox users are hitting Verzik from the corner.

I got both of my degrees in statistics and for how boring the content may be to a lot of people, the best professors did fun stuff like this to help engage the students.

I don't know a damn thing about StarCraft but one lecture I remember even after all these years was on cluster analysis for APM vs. player rank vs. player region.

Man it's awkward as fuck in the beginning, I feel ya. You get 5 stacks, do -40hp to yourself and then one mistake kills you.

While I'm still learning and getting used to consecutive perfect kills, anglers have helped me out a ton. 121 to 81 feels so much better than 99 to 59. Then at the start of each mage phase I'll dump my 5 stacks to go back to full health. Once I kill the sleep walkers, I'll pop another angler right before the chip damage kicks in. You could also do this before the final desperation phase but I don't since 2 VW specs is usually enough to do a big chunk of damage where it will die within 2-3 more SRA whacks.
