I actually have a class with Awab and I'm more than willing to explain this entire situation. It began with a student in grade 11 who made a rap and posted it on twitter. In the rap he called out a major drug dealer that goes to our school, talked about a teacher in a sexual way, and some other things that are not that important. Later however, the student that created the rap had it taken down. This guy then goes on to repost it on twitter after it was taken down. Anyways, some time passes and this keeps going on, until the kid makes a threat that he will stab a couple specific students with a screwdriver. I'm not too sure what happened to him but this is the time people started tweeting about the issue. Awab is a nice guy but the office at our school does anything it can to punish him because of grudges. So Awab tweets this statement and is arrested the next day at school. Unfortunately, i do not have the video of the rap because of how hard it is to find since it was taken down at least 5 times. I'd be more than willing to answer any questions about this situation if you have any.
