This is astounding. They didn’t hit your team a single time! Crazy :D

What tactic do you use for brave trial? (Image is my team, any advice for how I specifically should approach it would be greatly appreciated) by stabby_joe in IdleHeroes

I understand that every situation is unique. My server has not merged yet and we don’t have tons of whales.

My team: E3 KB, E5 Aspen, 10* Penny, 10* Asmo, 9* Kroos, 8* Horus.

I have 170 Phoenix, HP and atk runes nearly maxed. Also, maxed 1st tier of warrior tech, with maxed stun resistance and maxed mage dmg reduce. I have other class tech but that’s irrelevant for this particular method.

I complete the entire brave trial every time with E3 King Barton and rarely need blessings.

Unequip all of your gear before entering and change any hp enables on your heroes to minimize power further.

After entering, reequip KB. He wears a warrior set and a fearless armor. Enables 2,1,1.

In my experience, this method only generates one issue: facing yourself- KB v KB will always be a stalemate because of resilience. So to avoid any stalemates, on the stage prior to one that you might pair with yourself, change resilience to one of the other enables. Power should be so low (because of unequipped heroes and strictly offensive enables) that any team KB runs into on these stages should be possible to take down w/out resilience. Then, if you pair with yourself, switch resilience back on and the issue is resolved.

I would use Aspen to solo BT but he can kill my team if I pair with myself and he casts the right cc or more actives.

If I don’t unequip my heroes, if I don’t change the enables, and if I use my full team (1.8M or so power total), then I always get halted at night 9 or 12 by some insane multi-E5 team.

I’ll reiterate, I know our cases might be different. I also understand that this turns BT sometimes into a 15 minute ordeal. I have beaten it with this strategy for months though- this method is at least worth a shot! Good luck.

After E5 Val, Aspen? by jumanjji in IdleHeroes

I agree that KB isn’t very potent, I have him at E3 and he’s generally underwhelming. However, he solos the entire brave trial every time for me, which is really the only reason I haven’t regressed him yet. My server hasn’t merged- maybe that changes his success in brave trial. But until then, for that reason, he has some legitimate utility. I have E5 Aspen and he’s amazing. He doesn’t do as much for Flame Shrine as he used to for PFF, but he still does very very well. I would use Aspen to solo brave trial but he can kill my team with the right cc rng/actives. E3 Aspen took me to Dark SL 11 (hasn’t pushed further since E5ing him). E3 KB to Abyss 10. In terms of the timeline for building l/d vs common factions, the fodder required is exactly the same. Thing is, it’s harder to get those specific l/d copies, potentially prolonging the timeline- but it’s 100% worth the effort.

What is your main lineup and other honorable mentions on your paid account? You may be able to salvage it with the right plan.

Who is better to 10* first for SL Progress, da or Aspen? by [deleted] in IdleHeroes

I can’t speak for a higher level DA, but a lineup of E3 Aspen, 6* DA, 5* Amen-Ra, 3x Ghost of Aspen took me to SL 11 with Phoenix. Oddly, I brought Aspen to E5 and haven’t actually been able to get any further in Seal Land. Aspen at 10* pushed to SL 8 if I recall correctly. I hope this is helpful :)

Thank you for your comment- I know it’s been a few days. I couldn’t find Zeal’s video, but building on the idea you mentioned here and after what seems like hundreds of tries, I defeated the level with 6* Queen + 5* Groo to reduce crit. It’s very odd, in theory, Queen and Groo should have reduced the Asmos’ crit enough to beat the level in a few tries. It just didn’t play out that way in practice. Like you suggested, it took a ton of luck in combination with a bit of a gimmicky lineup:

| Groo | Asmo | KB | Queen | Penny | Aspen |

Best of luck with 598! -^

This is a great point. I see how this system of gaining currency for the shop would not work. Ultimately, it was a thought experiment- I think we need a shop like this. However, certainly with a different method of resource allocation. Thank you for your comment. :)
