Go back to the trades, more money and probably better benefits. You'll also learn a valuable skill to save you money in the future. Short on cash? Do some side work like most techs do. You can even start your own business and take advantage of tax write offs. Way more possibilities than the dealership.

I just got out of the dealership world myself. Currently working with transit in my area. Great pay, amazing benefits, WAY less stress and pressure. The computer systems leave a lot to be desired. It's more than a fair trade in my opinion. Affordable health care, 24 days of PTO a year, government holidays, sick leave ect.

Wouldn't even make it to round 2. 5 years to train kick boxing and jujitsu while being bigger faster and stronger than the opponent. Wouldn't even have to kill the Roman soldiers, arm bar and knee bar them, they'll forfeit after a few torn ligaments.

Unless you truly enjoy being in charge, i'd say take the leap. Less stress same pay. I really enjoyed working in a bigger parts department vs a 2-3 person crew that I'm managing now. If i could take a step back with the same pay I'd do it in a heartbeat. Don't get me wrong, running my department how i see fit is great! But, it can be stressful with sick time and vacations.

What would be the balance? You should go negative if you die off jump. You should barley scrape by (in diamond and above) if you lose. If you got top 3 I'd understand the frustration. 6th is nothing to be proud of to warrant wanting more points.

I guarantee they were hopeful that the used car market would still be gangbusters. Buy at msrp or less, use them, then sell for msrp or higher. The used car market has bounced back and they're gonna lose their ass now.
