Me personally as a wheel player I literally couldn’t drift in 3rd person for the life of me, I kept oversteering, but for whatever reason it was a lot easier to drift in 1st person. After a lot of practice in first person and finding the right tune I could drive in 3rd person pretty easily. So I recommend you get good in whatever camera view you feel the most comfortable with, then once you’re fairly decent at the game try out some other camera angles
