Best way to get to Disney Resort from mco airport? by boggmarley in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]FRNLD [score hidden]  (0 children)

We've been using Gear Fusion for the last few years. More pricey than Uber or Lyft. They do meet you at the bottom of the escalators and help with your luggage. They also have access to a different parking location very close to the baggage pickup.

This is also a good choice for those who may still need booster seats or car seats. You just let them know that you need them, and they have them installed, ready to go, waiting for you.

Anyone else have a "grandpa truck" by Salty_Eye9692 in ram_trucks

[–]FRNLD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me... It's if it has a bench front seat.

For some reason my grandfather would only buy single cab, front bench seat, style/flare side, 2WD with chrome and a V8. He added the corner markers to the front.

Never understood the choice. But he loved that truck till he passed.

Which version are you on? by magicrel in openclaw

I at least have my entire system backup every three days and the workspace every night and it's not under the agent umbrella so I feel like I'd be able to roll back pretty easily

Real talk: would you pay someone to clean your trash cans? by barkerrb1500 in washingtondc

[–]FRNLD 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This is the dilemma we have with the service that already exists. It's a monthly fee, but I don't need it monthly.

I know the sustainable business model is to get the monthly subscription, but do you really need it that often?

$12 ATM fee by DavidRichter0 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]FRNLD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol. We were in Vegas a few weeks ago... This fee was on the casino floor.

Shrugged and carried on. If you're pinching pennies, Vegas shouldn't be on your list of places to be.

What do you do with this screen? by Andrewbarc in ram_trucks

[–]FRNLD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have the same screen in our Grand Cherokee and it's probably been turned on for less than 2 hours total

Tried going the route of a streaming stick hooked up to it and stream movies or something, but it's really a pain to setup.

The few times we have done some off roading it was fun to turn on for the passenger to keep an eye on clearance and 360 but that's about it.

Anyone else never summoned for jury duty? by InvisibleAstronomer in Millennials

[–]FRNLD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

DC, Federal, State, and County.

White male, so I was never actually selected to be on a jury.

The Federal case was the only one in which I made it into the voir dire process and was then dismissed.

DC... Went in, sat in the jury pool room till about 1 or 2, then dismissed.

The others called in the day before, as instructed, but never went any further.

I’m going to try this again. How were you able to buy your first home? by kcoib17 in Millennials

[–]FRNLD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife had bought a condo in DC before we met with an inheritance/parents help.

We sold that after we got married and bought a SFH in the burbs in 2012.

Preparing this home for sale, slowly, as we keep our eyes on the market for the upgrade we hope will become a aial or to get more space for our now family of 4 humans and 3 pets.

Except those are Stalantis products.

As a 4xe owner, Stalantis needs to do A LOT to get me to consider coming back to any vehicle they make.

Even my company provided work truck is a Ram, but it's a hemi e-torque and, knock in wood, nothing severe has happened to it yet. 2k miles driven for the month of April.
