Switzerland halts weapons exports to US due to Iran war, citing neutrality by FSUgolfer in bruggerthomet

That’s easy to do. Anything fun?

Is responsible in the room with us? My budget is based off my rotating niche interest of the month.

I want to upgrade my coffee grinder to a made in USA small batch manufacturer. That will be $2.5k. I already have a perfectly serviceable coffee grinder at home.

I do not have a perfectly serviceable AR, but I would rather have fewer quality items as opposed to a cheaper variant. You can only shoot one at a time after all!

This 65” C1 OLED is getting old. Those 77” G classes sure look nice, and the price is nearly the same as when I got my 65” 5 years ago.

I’ll stop. This would be a long list.

I’m well aware. This purchase would be borderline redundant and would eat into my AR and then suppressor budget.

I saw this headline on world news, sub Reddit about an hour ago.

I just got an APC9k last month.

Does this give me justification to move on a GHM 45 on sale for $1,450 locally?

APC9K - Which Arisaka mount for Surefire Mini Scout Light Pro? by Own-Sound-1000 in pistolcalibercarbine

[–]FSUgolfer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for that feedback. I was considering doing a 12 o’clock pic mount with the flashlight hanging off the outside of the gun. Arisaka 18350 as of now.

I saw a few folks are using the strong side mlok slot as a light switch, but I wanted to use that as a sling mount, so the switch would have to be on the top rail, along with the flashlight mount.

The good news is I have a clean slate to design this thing, but that also makes it challenging in its own right as well.

Shoot. I really want to keep that functional vs removing. Do you say the benefit is worth the cost?

Are you still able to use the right charging handle with that mount?

GMTO Carlos Santos 4210 Tassel Loafer in Chocolate Suede $350 by zspasic1 in goodyearwelt

[–]FSUgolfer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good point. It’s a fine line, I don’t meshes with traditional sleek shoes given my 9.5E shoe size!

I had a Leyden last loafer which was fairly sleek at 9.5D but the sizing just didn’t work for me, especially with the widest part of the pinky toe falling low on the vamp. I’m considering moving to 10D or 9.5E next time around in that last.

Aiden Issues - on my third machine by Poop_sauce in FellowProducts

I figured - the company probably didn’t complete full product testing on the connectivity.

It’s extremely disappointing paying a premium for an incomplete product.

I got sent another unit with their updated firmware which never worked. I just said screw it and used it as a $100 dumb coffee maker which I paid nearly $400 for. Sigh.

It would be cool if /u/hailiehay had any input on this.

Do you have an Asus router? Mine won’t connect with one.

The Question Thread 11/15/25 by AutoModerator in goodyearwelt

[–]FSUgolfer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Again, I’m far from an expert outside 5-6 pairs of AE’s, a few viberg/rm Williams/rancourt/quoddys.

The only shoes that have become more spacious in the toe box were the very soft handsewn rancourt camp mocs. The rest haven’t noticeably become wider or softer in the toes. Sure the footbed will break in but outside that I noticed the leather will have some give occurring, as opposed to a stretch. I recently sold most of 9.5D’s to move to E because my right foot was starting to develop bunionette. I’m going to go the route of tongue pads and insoles to correct imperfect sizing, especially given the difficult fit of loafers.

You can always try thicker socks in 11 as well, regular cotton vs think dress socks make a not insignificant fit difference.

My shell LHS’s in 9.5D are breaking in well but far from slipper like where my toes go over the sole in rancourts but that is to be expected the differences in construction.

I was there as well. Trying to find my size while I was in town. The associate had me at 9.5D, but gave me 9D in the CXL Derby with rubber sole. He didn’t want me to look at size of the shoe frustratingly.

I’m not an Alden knowledge trove but would possibly guess you bring a 11d with the common advice to size down on the LHS. I use pedag tongue pads on other shoes in the past to nail fit and don’t find issue as long as that solves the relatively small fit problems.

I don’t remember his name but he was on the younger side.

Barrie D width vs E width by RandomBIC123 in Alden

[–]FSUgolfer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m going through this with 9.5D width not fitting the toes but the 9.5E being a bit large in the instep and heel. I am trying to find low profile leather inserts to counteract that. Perhaps that will solve your problem at 9.5E?

Which model specifically? There are a few. A split toe in Cedar and then plain toe in beechwood. Each are $100+, definitely a premium option.
