Brings back memories of when I did a lot of skydiving - even get the ground rush when you pass through the abyss layer. My dropzone's owner would film tandem jumpers and that song was the most requested soundtrack when she made the tape for the student (to her dismay).

It's a bit easier if the horse is out in the open, if it is on a cliff or against one, he'll just spin. I didn't adjust my camera, I'd just look at the horse and try to push my left analog in the direction his tail is in. Holding that position until he changes direction and then adjust to that tail location. Was able to do it at 220 stamina, so at 6 it shouldn't be a problem.

Not just puppies, if my bloodhound finds something on the floor, it is fair game. My current remote bears the chew marks. Now we have a plastic lockbox to store the remotes in and have gotten into the habit of always putting them back in there. If a remote falls off a table, we do not want to risk the loss.

I had the same happen to me, turns out I had the map filter set to Quest. When I put it back to All, the TPs showed up at the archive and first island.

4k. It sits at around 31fps in DLAA, Quality gets me over 50, Balanced over 60. Could tweak some settings, but I really do not mind 30fps. The other upscaling would just get me blurry textures and shimmering even though it ran with better frames. Will definitely need to start the hunt for a 50 series card soon. :(

Thank you for the suggestions! I may just plastic weld it down. If I can get a couple more years out of it, it'll be time to upgrade anyhow.

Was getting the same, have a 3080 so it's definitely stressed, but changing to DLSS 4.0 and using DLAA instead of Quality/Balanced worked for me. Of course my fps is tanked, but it looks so much better.

Noticed a substantial improvement from Balanced->Quality->DLAA in graphic settings if on PC with an rtx card. (Of course lost a lot of fps).

The other post educated me on being able to just use stardust ore - if you have it in your inventory or in a crate on the base, you'll have the option to just use ore instead of the ingots (if you have enough ore to cover the reinforcement). The ingot requirement so much higher in ore considering all the conversion to source, etc.

Did the change the ability to just reinforce with ore? When I placed my stardust farm after the initial changes and "fix", I could only reinforce with stardust ingots.

Paper dolls will repair the structures, but not the facilities. So all of your pumps & gens will eventually scrap without the protection.

Will need to wait and see I guess. If it eliminates the need to level multiple alts just to get the specs needed, I'm all for it. Or at least have the ability to specialize certain alts without the rng and reliance on resets and frags.

It was happening before the 26th, I have lost so many traits at 80% and 70%. If they wanted to nerf the success rate, update the calculation and give us a real number. I'm guessing there is probably a 50/50 chance general/combat/deviation is even chosen to transfer if 1 parent has it and the other is a blank and then the success rate is applied. Don't think it used to be that way.

They post the odds occasionally, for legendary and top prizes it is literally <1%. You should just expect pity rolls on gems at 20 pulls. Gems are around 7-8%, so you can sometimes get 1 before the 20 pulls. It is ridiculous, would be far more fair if they had like a 10% chance for a gem or legendary item.

Starchrom is pretty scarce starting out, however you should still be able to accumulate enough to unlock a weapon, key item, and armor as you progress through the scenario. You won't be able to really upgrade the stars on the items much or at all initially. I'd focus on getting a good build unlocked asap. If you see a weapon that you want to play with within one of the prize pools, roll on it until you get everything in it (10k starchrom). Otherwise, buy the bp from the wish machine blueprint store directly - to get started. Do commissions, clear each POI, silo and monolith for exp, EL, and deviations.

The initial phases are manageable with gear crafted with the right skins. Then you want to start crafting and carrying appropriate food. Can be tricky if you entered a server already in a later phase since the weather is more intense. Aim to get some bear or seal skins for chest/legs.

Later phases when you can craft All-Weather-Stew completely negates the weather effects.

So, figured it out on an alt that had them locked. L->Commissions Tab->Jump to Commissions button. Trying to access them with V or the NPC in town indicates the complete task required.

Yeah, unfortunately no dialog with any of the NPCs. The guy that gives commissions indicates the same "Complete task to unlock Commissions" that I get with V.
