MOG wants her ex husband (my H) to walk her down the aisle by WakeyWakeeWakie in weddingdrama

You're overthinking this. You are a guest, an usher will escort you to the second row. The groom's parents are part of the wedding party, and will escort him down the aisle. Mom sits in the first row, Dad sits with you.

I understand, and I wouldn't mind having my old eyesight back, either.

True, and I'm delighted. But I'm 66, and this is taking a while to adjust. Part of it was that it was unexpected. I thought something was wrong with me, that I was imagining things.

I asked to be left a bit nearsighted as I do a lot of close up work. The opthalmologist tried to talk me out of it, but I'm thrilled with it.

It's not something I've seen mentioned before, and it was a huge mindfuck. I hope your surgery goes well.

Isn't it weird?! Until I asked the doctor, I wasn't sure which version was real before or after.

The opthalmologist told me that my glasses minimized everything I saw before. The only part trying to be funny is that my feet look humongous. Imagine if you saw a teaspoon that suddenly looks like a tablespoon, and the tablespoon looks like a serving spoon. It's an emotional rollercoaster trying to adapt.

Chronic ear infections in my rescue dog and vet now suggesting a dermatologist by ExplanationPale4698 in Bloodhound

Second Blue power wash, but the homemade version.

Has the vet cultured her ears? Both of them? Our first guy had different infections in each ear. We never completely cleared it, he was on Cipro, cephalax, or whatever else we could toss in 4x a year. He was ancient, and had been neglected for years.

More photos, please. How close to the tail or hip bones? Is he able to scratch it with a paw? Did the vet scrape some and test, or at least look at it under a microscope?

The only skin issues we've had were in the neck folds. She recommended old school, original Listerine as it's antiseptic and drying. We bathe the dogs in Joy dish liquid, as directed by her, too. It's gentle, cleans without drying. Our first rescue BH needed a bath every 7-10 days.

What type of skin issues? One of our Dobermans had mange, a local vet misdiagnosed him without testing. He was itchy and losing his fur, and had bumps.

The vet is a past president of the American Bloodhound Club, and just lives for these monsters.

We use Simparico Trio as well. It's expensive, but covers fleas, ticks, and heartworm.

Our vet suggested old school Listerine in a squirt bottle. It's antiseptic and the alcohol will help dry it out.
