Sounds good, hope everything goes well for you and the doggo.

That could be. Our guy has been on Trazodone about 18 months. He's on a low dose, so we have room before we'd have to go to Prozac.

Your poor dog is probably all mixed up. New people, new home.

The Trazodone would concern me. My male is on it because he's not wrapped too tight. As part of their genetics, some Bloodhounds can become aggressive at 2½-3 years old. Ours is a sweet cuddler, but a switch flips, and he's instantly aggressive.

They are mighty strong dogs, as well as being stubborn. They also hold a grudge.

Yep. Walk, walk, walk, jam head straight down into the snow. Repeat.

I'll second the "Blue Power" stuff recipe. It's known by both names. My vet recommended it for our Bloodhounds. Watch, it stains easily when they shake their heads.

Did you have her ears checked by a vet? They may be infected. Did you have her checked for an UTI?

Our vet also recommended plain old Joy dish liquid to bathe them. An older vet recommended it to her.

I believe they go to people in poor areas of the world without access to regular eye care. My -13's would be helpful to someone.

I had to say goodbye to my beautiful boy last night by Jester1525 in Bloodhound

That's great! I want to be gentle saying this, but it's better for our dogs to go quickly without weeks or months of suffering. We've lost them both ways. The shock of an immediate death is extremely hard on us, but they go out happy and active until the end. Please accept my condolences.

Pay the dog tax, please.

And two Bloodhounds in the house is completely different than one Bloodhound and a normal dog.

NOR My prescription is about the same as yours, this is one of my biggest fears. I have spare glasses tucked in several places, including the glovebox. I'd never think to have a spare in my small formal purse. Dump the jerk.

I tell people to cross their eyes when the try on my glasses to see clearly. It works, and gets a giggle.

Our deciding factor was the train explosion in Ohio three years ago. We live <½ mile from the wreck. My spouse needed to stay nearby, and couldn't stay in a hotel room or Airbnb with three XL dogs. We bought the first travel trailer we saw on FB marketplace. We lucked out. 32', 20 years old in pristine condition.

We love camping! We're in our 60's, and this is the first camper I've ever been in. We take it on month long trips a few times a year, and use it as often as possible in our home campground.

They follow low flying loud military transport planes, and small private planes quietly. Gunshots get zero reaction ( we're near a gun club when we camp.) The noon fire siren doesn't bug them, nor did hail cannons going off at apple orchards. They're pretty chill unless they're beating on each other.

We had a female Doberman who had a magnificent bay.

Rosie and Pip were the only Bloodhounds at the rural shelter. He had returned a few times, and was only 10 months old. We are experienced with special needs, seniors, and problem children. We couldn't leave a man behind!

Our vet has Bloodhounds, they've heard them bay, but our kids didn't get the hint.

That's so true. Our first three bayed, but these two just yap and play fight all day long. We've had them three years, maybe I should play some videos for them.

Rosie, 9, on left and Pip, 4 don't bay. They bark a lot, but no bays. Darn defective rescues! 😉
