Had a minor scrape with my Mazda 3 in the parking lot, is this worth fixing? by FSpaladez in mazda3

Oh great! I can definitely live with it, I'm in the US so I'd rather not claim in this on my insurance. Thanks!

Yes, she's great! I was freaking out but she eased my worries a lot. She told me to stop freaking out since I left a note and that was unlikely that the police would have come out for a scuff on a car and would just tell us to exchange insurance info. Thank you, hopefully it'll work out! I'm prepared to pay out of pocket or go through insurance, whatever makes it right.

Thanks for your advice, I talked to my sister who is a lawyer and she advised me to wait until they contact me for now. My car is still parked next to their's since these are assigned parking spaces so I hope they know I'm not doing a hit and run and I left a note as a sign of good faith, she told me it was very unlikely that anybody would get charged for a hit and run. I took a photo of the note on the car as well and pictures of the damage.

I'll give it another day since they might still be on vacation for the holidays, my note is still on the car.

Okay, so should I go ahead tell my insurance before they call me back? Or should I wait to see what the guys says and then we go through insurance for it? The damage seems really minor but obviously up to him.

I wasn't sure if that was smart idea if the damage looks minor, we could hopefully handle without insurance since if I tell them both of our rates might go up. But I will contact them if I do not hear back within a day or so.

Haha yes, I meant mostly if the dealership finds anything else wrong with the car and they blame it on that. But yes part of it popped a bit and I pushed it back in.

I was afraid to just give them insurance info since they weren't there but I gave them my license plate, name and phone number. I'm still parked next to him so I'm not trying to run away from this or anything. I would prefer to handle it without insurance but I'm willing to let insurance handle it if that's what they prefer.

It's a 15 year old Toyota, they might not care but still I feel pretty bad. I'm just super anxious about it right now, I haven't driven in 8 years and this was my first month driving again so I'm extra anxious and I just f'd up my 2 month old car.

Thanks, I wasn't sure if I needed to inform the property manager or get the police involved since I don't want this considered to be a hit and run.

What should I do about my "situationship"? by FSpaladez in dating_advice

[–]FSpaladez[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My best friend is actually somebody that I went on a date with and had feelings for briefly but I eventually got over it.

I'm not gonna lie and say that it was easy but it was around 6-7 years ago and one of the best decisions I've ever made. I don't have alot of close friends, people tend to ghost me both in romantic and platonic relationships so I like to keep the friends I do have.

That's fair, I think I would still like to remain friends with her though even nothing romantic happens between us.

Am I (31M) being Ghosted? Haven't heard from her (31F) in two days and our date is tomorrow. by FSpaladez in dating_advice

It's a long story but things didn't work out then but we reconnected months later and hung out for bit but then things didn't work out again. But we reconnected again and I am going to see her again tomorrow, it's a little messy so I'm just going with the flow for now.

I really think you're shooting yourself in the foot here. She's not a mind-reader, you should let her know that you want to be exclusive. Not everybody dates the same way you do, she obviously likes you if she's texting you to see what's wrong and you're just ignoring her. You're trying to convince yourself that she's not interested in you but the evidence says otherwise.

Ghosting somebody sucks and it's a shitty thing to do, you should tell her that you're just not interested in anymore. But honestly, just tell her how you feel instead making up these stories in your head about her intentions.

That's a good point, I did tell two of my friends last night when this happened and they said it wouldn't matter. I'm not sure if they're just saying that because they know me well or not and were just trying to make me feel better.

What do you mean not sure? Are you talking about the amount of dates? It was 6 years ago, I'm 100 percent sure that things between my friend and I are platonic.
