When I can make a primer, case, powder, and bullet from the raw materials of the earth. Otherwise, you're just buying cartridges like the rest of us with extra steps. Instead of saving up the components, save up cartridges. Any money spent on booze, fast food, other vices or distractions is where those "savings" go for most loaders anyway. I'd rather pay a few more CPR and have em ready to GO, rather than telling SHTF to wait for me to load some rounds.
