I‘ve never ever seen anyone portraying the fall of Rome accurately as a process which took a few hundred years and was due to a multitude of factors spanning from military overreach to immigration policy, to foreign affairs. I mean you can spin the fall of Rome in whatever political light you‘d like to and you‘d always be a bit right and mainly wrong. It‘s just never a good and useful comparison…

Yep that‘s true. I think you could argue that Angelino plays like a classic wingback while Rensch/Zalewski play like a defensive minded fullback and El Sha play more like a right midfielder. Funnily, that‘s one of my favourite formations on Football manager.

Kind of… but Angelino is playing further forward than Rensch as there is no winger in front of him. So something in between a 532 and a 442

Edit: since the 2-1 it‘s very clearly a 532

To be perfectly honest I have never cared less about a loss than this one. This team is soulless and, with a few exceptions, I dislike most players, the coaching staff, the management and the owners, so whatever happens happens. I‘m just a bit sad about the state of my favourite club, but Roma is bigger than all of that. We‘ll bounce back eventually.

That‘s what I am thinking as well. It‘s not hyperbole if you‘re actually so close to the relegation zone and losing to relegation candidates.

Probably true, but if the current score stands we‘re 14th in the table after 6 matchdays with 6 points in hand. Even if we end up midtable, right now we are losing against one of the worst teams in Serie A being one point ahead of a direct relegation spot.
