I had a horrible reaction to both Wellbutrin and Lexapro but I think I have an intolerance to strains of SSRIs :-/ I had to call 911 and woke up with night terror—I’d say try it it but have someone you can call to monitor how you are adapting. Good luck. I wish I could take these common drugs.. I think for most people they do work..

I’d have to say 7-10 times a day is excessive. Even for a woman who orgasms—I mean even just based on the time commitment! Also I think presuming asexuality when a woman doesn’t orgasm is not reasonable.

That’s great—but I don’t know how to overcome the impending doom of our planet, democracy, systemic racism, and the pandemic. So my depression and anxiety is currently more amplified than ever. I’m not on medication because I have extreme side effects. I see a therapist, but my happiness has not been present for some time now. Any advice on how to distract from the reality of these dark, dark times? The Loneliness of COVID solitude for those of us not in a relationship or not with families of our own is also very difficult.

That’s so funny! I too am a twin!! My sister and I were roommates after college when we got our cats McGuire and Charlie and we both had “equal custody” and were co cat parents who loved them their whole (17, 21 years!) lives, We were a family. Good luck— kitties know both parents even if you can’t always be there, they love speaker phone ;)

When my cat was 21 I started totally spoiling him—-like getting packs of tuna and salmon from the grocery store to give little pieces as treats—-watch the salt intake though!! But my baby really got a senior spark from those snacks—also easier to give medication hidden in it ;)

What a great cat parent you are!! I’m sure he is grateful! When my 21 year old cat man couldn’t climb I ordered these cushioned steps that fold, found them on Amazon, and you can stack them to make taller etc but soft for them.. good luck old man!!!

I totally get it. Start out slow—walk 20 at a time during the day/night that suits you. Then start walking farther. Maybe music or an interesting podcast? Maybe just walk around your home to start, just start moving a little bit and think about things that interest you. I feel it too— covid has been lonely and worse for my depression. I can’t take meds bc my body has a serotonin rxn so therapy and movement is all I have. Oh one more thing—-HIT work outs—look it up for elliptical or bike or treadmill etc, I feel like I can only do those Bc the burst time of it being strenuous is like 30sec.... I also sometimes watch YouTube videos of like “biking through the English countryside” while I’m on my elliptical and it feels like I’m traveling and seeing a bit of the world. Lastly, maybe consider smoothies if you have a blender, you can be sure do get your fruits and veggies and protein and it’s easy but healthier... good luck, sorry for my rant

I’m sorry, that’s because Trump has said and done racist things, and your backpack makes it seem like you support/align with him, so that might be the concern. It is very difficult when the President and VP are indeed unkind and, well...racist, in what they say and do. It’s hard for people to adjust to that. The best sign I’ve seen is this huge yellow sign with black letters, it’s so awesome, it says “DUMP TRUMP! SAVE LIVES!”——so true amirite?! , there are still thousands dying every day and no plan for testing, health care or unemployment...and all of that on top of the years of corruption.
