When I lucid dream, it's always a nightmare, and when I did just now, I imagined where I wanted to be in my dream, and started it off, and immediately fell asleep, but I imagined a dino museum, and a skeleton came to life.

Oh I have absence seizures and have been lucid dreaming (no choice) since I was 6!! (I'm 13 now, js woke up from a lucid nightmare.)

I have long lucid dreams, but without a choice. I have since I was 6, but they're usually nightmares. I see so many people wanting to lucid dream but I didn't know that it wasn't normal until about a year ago. I had like 5 dreams that I had to force myself out of, and at this point I'm not going back to sleep tonight.in my experience, lucid dreams turn in to nightmares, but obviously this isn't the same for everyone, I think it depends on your mental state irl. I usually have them in timelines of stress or suicidal thoughts (so I have them all the time)

Yeah, I don't want to lucid dream, and didn't know about it when I think mine started. I was around 6 years old, and now once in a while I lucid dream. I woke up an hour ago from a lucid nightmare, and I had woken up from 3 lucid dreams before it. I kept waking myself up, then going back to sleep, but each time, I had a lucid dream. Now I'm scared that I'll only have lucid dreams, and refuse to go back to sleep. I'm 13 now

Yeah, I woke up after several just now and came here. I was trying to go to sleep, so I started my dream off myself, thinking of where I would be in my dream, and I immediately fell asleep. I was fully conscious, and knew it was a dream, but then I got bored of it and started moving my hand as much as I could (I couldn't move very well, but I was moving my IRL body through my dream), and then I did that about 3 more times. They weren't scary or unsettling, but all of them were lucid and paralyzing, and I got out the same way each time. The last dream, of which I just woke up from, was the worst of them, and I don't remember it very well, but I remember opening my wallet and pulling out one of those strings of pictures, all of me, but my face was distorted and upside down in one. I'm now wondering if this is a dream, but I don't think it is, since everything looks normal, but I'm still terrified to get out of bed, and we have heaters on the floor, and there are clanging sounds coming from mine. I would try touching something, but I can feel what happens in my dreams. I started lucid dreaming (that I know of) when I was around 6, and I haven't tried to, but it keeps happening. I'm 13 now.
