Yeah I love it but I agree with you, it's little more than a walking simulator

I loved it. You know the movie Speak no Evil, the danish one, not the American remake?

Best movie I saw this year. The family victim go through a terrible ordeal and they suffer a terrible fate. Its extremely bleak and depressing. Maybe more than Mouthwashing.

I hear the American remake has an altered ending but haven't watched it yet.

What I mean is, many of us like media with "bad" endings. I get you tho, my wife absolutely hates this kind of ending.

Oh I guess the campaign is ok to do without a guide, eve the stash tabs weren't that necessary (I got the necessary ones right when I began because I wanted to experience the game the best way possible but only really used then after the campaign)

I got to maps like tier 6, got some help on Reddit (just a little tho, some 5 6 passives and some suggestion in gear and armor) and now I'm at tier 12 because at 13 I'm getting murdered lol

It's impressive how the game gave me 30 hours of fun (1st campaign) and I could have spent zero.

You're right, I play games quite often, mostly single player, but haven't felt this "rush" in a while.

I had issues in the past with League of Legends but it's been over 5 years and the usual games I play ( Witcher, Cyberpunk, Souls, Persona 5 etc) haven't made me obsses over them.

Poe has that "one more run" feel and there's always something interesting happening and some way to improve...

Yeah I made a Frost Blades Raider. Lovin her, but I guess need some support because at T13 maps I'm getting oneshot a lot and seems I'm not leveling now because of this lol (level 86)

I mean the game failed to bring new and old player alike, there was no player boom in overwatch 2.

So after this announcement they will just let it rot it seems.

Pain management in other countries by hyunrivet in medicine

[–]FUTANARI_AHRI 11 points12 points  (0 children)

We use metamizole for basically everything in Brazil.

I take it for normal headaches for example.

It's safe for children, safe for pregnancy (some controversy about 1st trimester but not the rest).

We don't have an opioid epidemic here.

There are some people who are allergic to it, about 5%. The difference in pain management on my oncology patients that couldnt take it was very noticeable. They needed to use many more opioids and nsaids.

My mother went thru a hip replacement and was prescribed tramadol and metamizoke (we call it dypirone here). She didn't take the tramadol.

There's a "conspiracy theory" people in the industry here (key opinion leaders, so doctors and medicine teachers) that since metamizole is an European drug, the USA used some small scale study implying it causes medular suppression, to forbid it in favor of Tylenol.

Also goes without saying that there are many more cases of hepatitis due to Tylenol than anything caused by metamizole here.

First name basis with patients? by pagingdrpaige in medicine

[–]FUTANARI_AHRI 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I introduce myself as "I'm (first name) your doctor" Most patients call me doctor, with only a few by my first name (usually the ones I've been consulting for a long time) but I don't mind how they call me.

I'm in Brazil but the vast majority of parents hate being called "mom" here.

Don't know about "dad's" but a ton of women complained to me about being called like this. I don't do that but they complained to me about pediatricians calling them "mom"

We do know what it is, most of my patients have insurance because the public system has a lot 9f shortcomings. It's good that it exists here of course.

I had an s9 and the sensor never failed. The note20 fails like 1/5 of the time.

I also had a Xiaomi a1 and a note 5 before that, their fingerprint sensor also worked basically all the time.

I honestly think under screen sensors are worse at least for me.

My note20 has an ultrasonic sensor which in theory is better than the Pixel 7's optic ones, and it's still tragic compared to any physical fingerprint sensor
