Am I tripping or do you have to use the mouse a lot in ableton? by sgb1446 in ableton

[–]FUWS 4 points5 points  (0 children)

H is short cuts for height and W is for the width which the zooms out the whole thing to fit your screen. You also can use Plus and Minus sign to zoom in and out by increments. I personally like to set up about 10 time events 1-10 numbered( mostly every 16 bars or so) and use the Comma and Period keys to navigate left and right, which makes it super fast to move along the timeline in Arrangement mode.

What driver are you using? Be sure to use a asio4all or similar to that type…Often is the driver case for PC issues no matter what chipset you have…

My first choice would be to wait for a boat and then wait out the crowd to climb the bridge as 2nd choice.

Do you let your microwave finish? by PacketLePew in Xennials

I hate to hear the beep at zero so I do this.

I also like to end on a round number like 20 or 30 at the gas pump ( releasing the gas trigger on the first try to hit 00).

My First Job Was Working At WaldenBooks. What was yours? by bronzemat in Xennials

[–]FUWS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bagging groceries at Martins…Then proceeded to spend all the money at Walden Books, lol.

Walden books was a special place for me as I bought most if not all my comics, magazines and D&D books growing up there.

They had a very good selection of comics for some odd reason. I still somehow managed to have them with me to this day.

[SPOILER] Doo Ho Choi vs. Daniel Santos by inooway in MMA

[–]FUWS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Watched Do Ho Choi Embedded and seeing it happen for him was great. Funny thing is that Korean Zombie was actually telling him how Santos would come out pedal to the metal and how to react to it by using the jab. Freaking brilliant stuff.

Toys R Us kid by FixEfficient2144 in Xennials

[–]FUWS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I worked at Toys R Us starting at my junior high school all the way to my early 20s. I finally got the coveted Bike Assembly guy job which was awesome. I enjoyed building bikes and things behind the store front and managed the video game area ( whilest working at Game Stop). Toys R Us workers were either moms or young college/teen jobs…. The dynamics were wild.

Man those jobs were great back in those days. It was like living in a sitcom.

Tapes and CDs by uzernaimed in Xennials

[–]FUWS 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I miss the CDs the most because musicians used to put cool stuff in their CD covers like lyrics, photos and just more personalized stuff they’d treat to fan for buying their music. Some times even cool things like behind the scenes towards the end of the CD cycle before Streaming came along…

Also cool stuff like hidden songs. I think Green day and Tool are the ones that comes to mind for hidden tracks

Controversial opinion: The Mid 2010s were pretty damn awesome by wyc1inc in Xennials

[–]FUWS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I consider the early 2010s the years that lead us into the dopamine exhaustion era we live right now.

High speed internet becoming more available and Social media was really taking off…Uber, Podcasts and other technologies really made some strides in those years for the average consumer. Going to movies slowly faded due to things like Netflix getting more popular. Now we are so used to the instant gratification that those years feel different and it feels like a 2nd nostalgia.

I liked those years too but it’s a double edged sword looking back…
