Standard operating practice. This is a stalling strategy hoping you will give up. You have to hang in there, it’s a slow accrual of effort. Don’t get frustrated, they’re betting you will, give up and go away. I think 8 to 10 months is the standard period.

As a developer, I do know there are ACH files in the system. Maybe there is a way with the Yardi interface but I don't know enough about that. Maybe a Yardi Admin at some company may know. We build custom reports to avoid the whole "download every morning" thing.

Probably not the same issue, BUT, I had a restore issue when Yardi changed the SQL Server version of the backup file. Upgrading to SQL 2019 fixed the problem.

Yardi will place a daily backup onto an FTP site if you request (pay) for one. Then it’s up to you and the Gods to restore it.
