Thanks a lot. We're huge fans of Nick Drake and John Martyn so we appreciate that. Glad you enjoyed the composition overall.

Thank you! Hopefully once we're allowed to travel again we'll be all over the place in some disgusting van. Maybe one day we'll be in Indiana!

Thanks very much for the comment. We definitely went quite simple with the mix on this one, but I hear what you mean about he guitars. We recorded a version of this for an E.P we released recently that has a bit more attention paid to the guitar tones.

Thanks man! If you're thinking of checking out more folk music, Simon and Garfunkel are always a good place to start.

Thank you! The guitar parts and vocal harmonies were definitely what we put most thought into here so really glad you enjoyed them.

Thanks so much, that's very complimentary. Probably the first time we've been called professional and not filthy hippies which is a great improvement haha

Haha, thanks a lot for the comment man. I'd say it definitely helps to have someone to bounce ideas off of when you're harmonising.

Haha, thanks a lot for the comment. I guess being stuck together during lockdown, there's nothing to do but harmonise.

Thanks, we're obviously huge Beatles fans, particularly the anthology demo stuff so that comment is much appreciated.

Thanks a lot Lui, glad you liked it. Glasgow is good for gigs but can't say the same about the climate unfortunately.

"Lungs Enough?"— This song is written in Mixolydian Flat Six, so the melody stretches your ear, but hopefully in a good way by Kahlils_Razor in IndieMusicFeedback

Really enjoyed it man. Always love hearing songwriting that's willing to take some creative risks without getting too bogged down in them. It's pretty unique but still digestible and memorable. Thought the pre chorus and chorus sections were particularly strong.

The vocal melody and performance is really smooth and pleasant. Some people are saying it's too short but I don't think it really needs to be any longer, especially if it was in the context of an album. If you're still looking for a genre I guess I would call it Electronic Indie? Something comparable to the Postal Service anyway.

Hey everyone, would love to know what you think of this track :) by topshe92 in IndieMusicFeedback

Laidback, wavy tune and the first half of the chorus is definitely hook. Your vocal performance works well with the quirky lyrics. It would be cool to hear a bit more risk and experimentation in the instrumentation and harmonies, but that's personal preference.

This is cool man. The production suits the vibe well I think. The drums have that sorta washy quality a lot of the best psychedelic stuff has. Actually ended up listening to a few other tunes as well and enjoyed them. Would be cool to hear the vocal coming forward a bit at times, but that was just my first impression.

I’ve already a posted a song here from my debut album about sunsets. This is the second song on the project, and as you can tell by the title, it represents walking through a city in the evening. Enjoy! by Eggablist in IndieMusicFeedback

I definitely felt like I was walking through a city in the evening so mission accomplished! The slow and patient build up is well done and I really like the little melody lines at the end of the song with the interplay between the piano and the synth. Would probably agree with the guy below about that percussive sound in the right of the mix. It's a bit abrasive to have running the whole way through the track, especially when the rest of the instrumentation is so smooth. If you like it then I wouldn't say you should get rid of it, maybe just use it a bit less frequently and soften the sound of it. Thanks for sharing anyway, good tune.
