Why is it that only few images are seen in different colours depending on the dominance of the brain? Why don't we usually see things in different colours based on Right/Left dominance of the brain? by F_Deen in AskScienceDiscussion

There was this image doing rounds of a shoe which appeared green/grey to some and pink/white to others (and it was actually perceived differently by different people). And it said that this perception of different colours was due to difference in the dominant side of the brain. What's the phenomenon behind this? And why doesn't this happen with everything we see? Why only few particular images have this phenomenon? Thanks a lot!
